Arvid Soderblom - Receives little goal support Soderblom did a good job, kicking aside 30 of the 32 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-1 road loss against the Bruins.

Impact Soderblom was getting the starting nod in Game No. 2 in a back-to-back situation, after Petr Mrazek patrolled the crease Tuesday. The 24-year-old acquitted himself well, he just received very little in the way of offensive support. The Blackhawks do not have another back-to-back situation until Nov. 4-5, but Soderblom is likely to draw back in sooner than that after this solid effort.

Connor Murphy - Dishes out five hits in loss Murphy didn't factor into the scoring in Tuesday's 3-1 road loss against the Bruins, but he delivered a game-high five hits.

Impact Murphy ended up with a minus-1 in on the night, and he didn't even attempt a shot. However, he was good for a pair of blocked shots and the plentiful hits, which will be his calling card. Fantasy managers playing in deeper leagues rewarding those categories will want to keep an eye on the Chicago rearguard.

Ryan Donato - Grabs helper on rookie's goal Donato posted an assist in Tuesday's 3-1 road loss against the Bruins.

Impact Donato picked up the secondary helper on rookie Connor Bedard's first NHL goal, and the veteran pivot added three shots on goal, a blocked shot and a hit across 18:45 of TOI on 20 shifts. The only negative on the night was the fact Donato won just one time on six tries at the faceoff dot. He and his teammates will be back at it Saturday in Montreal.

Jason Dickinson - Feisty in road setback Dickinson didn't get onto the scoresheet in a 3-1 road loss against the Bruins Tuesday, but he did pick up 17 penalty minutes.

Impact Dickinson dropped the gloves in a third-period scrap with John Beecher, and he was not only assessed a fighting major, but he picked up two minutes for instigator, as well as a game misconduct for the misdeed. It was rather surprising to see the pivot rack up the big PIM, as he had a total of just 28 last season across 78 games.

Connor Bedard - Notched first NHL goal Bedard scored his first NHL goal in the Blackhawks' 3-1 road loss against the Bruins on Wednesday.

Impact Bedard is just the fourth No. 1 overall pick to post at least one point in each of his first two NHL games as an 18-year-old, and he is the first since Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon accomplished the feat in 2013. He ended up taking a team-high six shots on goal, while also notching his first-career penalty on a tripping call in the second period. He'll look to keep it rolling Saturday in Montreal.
