Impact Dillon has stepped up on offense lately, earning all three of his points this season over the last four games. The 34-year-old's tally at 4:54 of the second period Tuesday ended up being the game-winner as well. Impact Dillon picked up his first point in three games when he helped out on Dawson Mercer's empty-netter. The 34-year-old Dillon is a stalwart on the third pairing and already has nine hits and seven blocked shots this season. He offers little scoring upside but should remain a steady presence in the physical categories -- he has at least 190 hits and 100 blocks in each of the last four seasons.

Impact Dillon was hurt early in the second period of Game 1 versus Carolina and never returned. He was slated to miss at least the first two rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs, had New Jersey advanced. Dillon managed two goals, 14 assists, 191 hits, 108 blocked shots and 67 PIM across 82 regular-season games in 2024-25. He should be ready to go in time for the start of training camp in September.
