Starting in ECF rematch Bussi will defend the road crease in Tuesday's clash with the Canadiens, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Impact While he didn't make an appearance in the 2025-26 Eastern Conference Finals, Bussi will look to help the Hurricanes stay one step ahead of the Canadiens in Tuesday's matchup. The 28-year-old netminder is off to an up-and-down start to the 2026-27 campaign, where he has a 0-1-1 record, a 2.88 GAA and an .872 save percentage across two appearances. While his opponent for Tuesday isn't set to make his outlook any easier, he's still a solid start in fantasy for the time being.

Yields five goals Friday Bussi stopped 22 of 27 shots on net in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.

Impact After Bussi had a solid start to the campaign in Carolina's 1-0 Opening Night loss, Friday told a different tale. The 28-year-old netminder struggled in the early portion of the contest, as he allowed four goals in the first 22 minutes of action. With Friday's loss, he now holds a 0-1-1 record, a 2.88 GAA and an .872 save percentage across 47 save attempts in two games this season. With the Hurricanes playing Saturday on the second half of a back-to-back, Bussi will likely be able to rest if Pyotr Kochetkov is called upon to make his season debut. Backed by one of the league's strongest defensive cores, Bussi still holds plenty of fantasy value as a solid No.2 goalie option for the time being.

Gut-punch loss to begin Cup defense Bussi stopped 19 of 20 shots in Tuesday's 1-0 overtime loss to the Panthers.

Impact The 28-year-old began the Hurricanes' Stanley Cup defense by getting locked in a goaltending duel with Jacob Markstrom, but Gustav Forsling spoiled Bussi's shutout bid with less than five seconds left in OT by blasting a one-timer through a partial screen from the blue line. Bussi still came up with a number of big saves just to earn Carolina a point in the standings, and he'll be back between the pipes either Friday at home against Washington, or Saturday on the road in Philadelphia.
