Sharp in Tuesday's win Stolarz stopped 34 of 36 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers.

Impact Stolarz picked up his first win in three outings since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 32-year-old netminder looked to be in his 2024-25 form for this one, as he struggled even before his long-term absence this season. He's now 7-7-1 with a 3.55 GAA and an .882 save percentage over 16 starts. The Maple Leafs come out of the Olympic break with a back-to-back against division rivals -- they visit the Lightning on Feb. 25 and then face the Panthers a day later, so Stolarz and Joseph Woll will likely each get a start in that two-game sequence.

Set to start Tuesday Stolarz is slated to start Tuesday's road game against Edmonton, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports.

Impact Stolarz has made two starts since returning from an upper-body injury in late January, and he's gone 0-2-0 with a 4.62 GAA and .824 save percentage in those outings. Joseph Woll will tend the twine during Monday's road game in Calgary, so Stolarz will defend the crease in the Maple Leafs' final matchup before the Olympic break. The Oilers rank third in the NHL with 3.45 goals per game this season.

In goal versus Kraken Stolarz will get the starting nod for Thursday's road clash with Seattle, Luke Fox of Sportsnet reports.

Impact In his first game back from a long-term, upper-body injury, Stolarz gave up five goals on 30 shots (.833 save percentage). It was a less-than-stellar performance, but getting the netminder some work before the Olympic break certainly makes sense. Especially considering the Leafs head into a back-to-back versus Calgary and Edmonton on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, so Stolarz figures to get one of those games as well.

Stuck with loss in return Stolarz stopped 25 of 30 shots in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights, with Vegas' final goal getting scored into an empty net.

Impact Making his return from an upper-body injury that cost him two-and-a-half months of action, Stolarz looked a little rusty at times -- the second goal against him came when he failed to corral two rebounds on the same sequence -- but he also didn't get much help from his defense. The veteran netminder will likely work in a timeshare with Joseph Woll now that both of them are healthy, but Stolarz will need to improve on his 3.63 GAA and .880 save percentage to avoid slipping into the No. 2 role.
