Pheonix Copley - Returns to AHL Copley was assigned to AHL Ontario on Sunday.
Impact Copley was David Rittich's backup in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to Anaheim. Since Copely was with the Kings on an emergency basis, his demotion probably means that Darcy Kuemper will be available to return after the 4 Nations Face-Off break.

Andreas Englund - Lands on waivers Englund was put on waivers Sunday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Impact Englund has been a healthy scratch for 13 straight games and might benefit from seeing some playing time in the minors if he clears waivers. He has generated one goal, four shots on net, seven blocked shots and 20 hits in 11 appearances this season.

Warren Foegele - Lends assist Saturday Foegele notched an assist and four shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Ducks.
Impact Foegele went from one goal over a 13-game span between Jan. 4 and Feb. 1 to two goals and two assists over his last three outings. The 28-year-old helped out on an Adrian Kempe game-tying goal in Saturday's contest. For the season, Foegele has racked up 28 points, 126 shots on net, 48 hits, 30 blocked shots and a plus-19 rating through 53 appearances in a middle-six role.

Phillip Danault - Provides assist in shootout loss Danault notched an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Ducks.
Impact Danault has five points and a plus-4 rating over four outings in February. The 31-year-old center set up an Adrian Kempe tally late in the third period to get Saturday's contest to overtime. Danault continues to be more playmaker than finisher this season with five goals, 23 assists, 78 shots on net, 56 hits, 49 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 52 appearances.

Adrian Kempe - Forces overtime Saturday Kempe scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Ducks.
Impact Kempe ended a seven-game goal drought with his tally late in the third period to force overtime. The 28-year-old has logged at least four shots on net in nine of his last 10 outings, but he's scored just three goals in that span. It's a bit of bad luck, which he'll try to shake off while playing for Sweden at the 4 Nations Face-Off. For the season, Kempe has 25 goals, 21 assists, 163 shots on net, 62 hits and a plus-14 rating over 53 appearances as a top-line fixture for the Kings.

David Rittich - Good effort, poor result Saturday Rittich stopped 25 of 26 shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Ducks.
Impact Rittich had a poor showing in a shootout win over the Stars on Friday. He played better Saturday, but the results evened out, as he gave up two goals in this shootout to let the Ducks escape with a road win. Rittich has allowed just seven goals while going 1-1-1 across his last three contests. The 32-year-old is 12-11-1 with a 2.59 GAA and an .890 save percentage through 25 appearances this season, his most games played in any campaign since he saw action in 48 contests in 2019-20 with the Flames. Darcy Kuemper (personal) figures to be back in action when the Kings' schedule resumes Feb. 22 versus Utah.

Jacob Trouba - Garners helper in shootout win Trouba provided an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over the Kings.
Impact Trouba ended a five-game point drought when he set up Brian Dumoulin's third-period goal. The 30-year-old Trouba is still searching for his first goal of the season, and it took him 29 games to match his assist total (six) that had he had in 24 contests with the Rangers to begin the season. The defenseman has added 84 shots on net, 111 hits, 148 blocked shots, 43 PIM and a minus-3 rating. He continues to see top-four minutes as a physical presence for Anaheim.
