Impact Georgiev is coming off a 25-save performance in Monday's 3-2 shootout win over Toronto. He has posted a record of 11-19-1 with a 3.58 GAA and an .878 save percentage through 35 appearances between San Jose and Colorado this season. Vitek Vanecek won't play in Tuesday's game for trade-related reasons, but he will be Georgiev's backup. Buffalo ranks 12th in the league with 3.17 goals per game in 2024-25 and lost a 4-3 overtime decision to Montreal on Monday.

Impact Georgiev gave up two goals in the second period, though both came in the power play, but he was excellent the rest of the way. The win is no small feat for the 29-year-old, as this was his first win since Jan. 14, when he stopped 25 of 28 shots in a 6-3 win over the Red Wings. Between both wins, Georgiev went 0-6-1 with a 4.34 GAA and a .870 save percentage across eight appearances (seven starts).

Georgiev is only 10-19-0 this season after winning 78 games over his previous two campaigns with the Avalanche. He will face the Canadiens, who are generating 2.93 goals per game, 15th in the NHL.

The state of the Sharks' defense as well as Georgiev's own flaws as a goalie make him a highly risky option for fantasy. He's now 10-19-0 with a 3.64 GAA and an .876 save percentage through 33 appearances between the Sharks and the Avalanche in 2024-25. Vitek Vanecek is likely to get the nod Monday in Winnipeg.
