Set to miss start of camp Regula (lower body) is expected to miss the beginning of training camp, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal on Tuesday.

Impact Regula is still working his way back from a lower-body procedure in the summer. The 24-year-old blueliner produced four goals and 26 points across 55 regular-season outings for AHL Providence in 2023-24. Regula will likely play most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.

Impact Regula has logged just 22 NHL games with the most recent outing coming during the 2022-23 campaign when he was with the Blackhawks. The fact that the 23-year-old defenseman racked up 26 points in 55 games for AHL Providence last year could earn him a look during training camp, but fantasy players should be expecting Regula to spend the bulk of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors with AHL Providence.

Impact Regula was acquired by Boston in June in the trade that sent Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno to Chicago. The 23-year-old Regula provided five goals, 21 points and 69 PIM in 51 minor-league contests with Rockford last season. If he clears, he will report to AHL Providence.

Regula and Ian Mitchell were acquired by the Bruins on June 26 in a trade that sent Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno to the Blackhawks.

Impact Regula is a pending restricted free agent following the completion of his entry-level contract. The 22-year-old defender notched 21 points and 69 PIM in 51 AHL contests with Rockford in 2022-23. Regula has one goal, 32 blocked shots and 28 hits in 22 career NHL appearances over the past three seasons.
