Impact Charbonnet will fill in for Walker for a second consecutive contest after handling the bulk of work afforded Seattle running backs last Thursday against the 49ers. In that outing, he earned a career-high 87 percent snap share and had 18 touches for 58 yards from scrimmage. Charbonnet still is in search of the first touchdown of his career, and his quest for one may be difficult Thursday against a Cowboys defense that has surrendered the eighth-fewest TDs (six) to opposing running backs in 11 games this season.

Impact The rookie got the starting call as expected with Kenneth Walker (oblique) sidelined and unsurprisingly found efficiency hard to come by against an aggressive 49ers defense. Charbonnet's longest run went for a modest 10 yards, and seven of his 11 receiving yards came on one catch. With Seattle having just a standard seven-day period between games ahead a Week 13 Thursday night road battle versus the Cowboys, there's a possibility Walker still isn't healthy enough to suit up against Dallas.

Impact Charbonnet out-snapped Kenneth Walker for the second straight week, although Walker led the backfield in touches, turning nine carries into 16 yards and catching a pass for a one-yard gain. Walker may have been battling an injury last week that limited his workload, but he wasn't on the injury report for Week 9. Instead, it appears Charbonnet was called on more because he's the better pass catcher and this game turned lopsided early. This backfield could flip in Charbonnet's favor at any moment, but it's still going to be tough to trust him for fantasy purposes until he handles more touches than Walker.

Out-snaps Walker in win Charbonnet rushed five times for 53 yards and caught both of his targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Browns.

Impact For the first time this season, Charbonnet led Seahawks running backs with 31 snaps (56 percent) while Kenneth Walker logged 24 snaps (44 percent). Still, Walker narrowly took the majority of the touches, turning eight carries into 66 yards and two targets into one four-yard catch. It's encouraging that Charbonnet was effective with his usage Week 8, but it's unclear whether the tables are actually turning in this backfield. After all, Walker dealt with a calf injury during the practice week and could have handled a limited workload as a result. This is an RB situation worth keeping an eye on as the team travels to Baltimore in Week 9.
