Denzel Ward - Still in concussion protocol Ward is still in concussion protocol Monday ahead of Cleveland's matchup versus Cincinnati in Week 8, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Ward sustained a blow to the head back in Week 5 and has remained in the league's concussion protocol since. The two-time Pro Bowler will probably need to practice in some capacity this week in order to suit up for Monday Night Football versus the Bengals.

Kenyan Drake - Held to five yards in Week 7 Drake rushed 11 times for five yards and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Browns.
Impact After rushing for 119 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries against the Giants in the previous game, Drake was bottled up by the Browns. Gus Edwards (knee) made his season debut and was far more effective on the ground, scoring two touchdowns while racking up 66 yards on 16 carries. Edwards should function as Baltimore's top rushing option for the remainder of J.K. Dobbins' (knee) absence, while Drake will likely be limited to a change-of-pace role.

David Njoku - Expected to miss 2-to-5 weeks Njoku (ankle) was diagnosed Monday with a left high-ankle sprain and is expected to miss 2-to-5 weeks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski called Njoku week-to-week after the tight end was forced out of Sunday's 23-20 loss at Baltimore and spotted in a walking boot after the contest. Njoku doesn't look like he'll be a candidate to return to the field until after Cleveland's bye Week 9, and considering his projected 2-to-5-week timetable, a stint on injured reserve also could be in play. Harrison Bryant stands to benefit from increased opportunities as long as Njoku is sidelined.
