Impact Johnson went without a catch in a regular-season contest for the first time since Week 3 of the 2024 campaign. The tight end had reeled in at least three passes in each of the team's first five games of the year. Over the last two weeks, Johnson has caught four of seven targets for 16 yards, and his next chance to get back on track will come in Week 7 against the Steelers in Paris.

Impact The tight end came through with another big performance and connected with J.J. McCarthy on a 24-yard TD in the fourth quarter after the young QB had replaced Jameis Winston under center. It's reassuring that Likely remained involved even after the switch at quarterback, and he's seen double-digit targets in three straight games, delivering a 24-259-3 line on 36 targets as the team's No. 2 pass catcher behind Malik Nabers. Likely will look to keep rolling in Week 7 against the Texans, regardless of who is throwing him the ball.

Cam Skattebo - Zero touches in Week 6 loss Skattebo played only six snaps and got zero carries or targets in the Giants' 34-27 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
Impact One week after losing a key fumble in a 27-27 tie to the Commanders, Skattebo was removed from his starting job as the Giants' backfield devolved into a four-man committee. Tyrone Tracy was the team's most productive back, scoring one rushing and one receiving TD but managing just 45 scrimmage yards on eight touches, while Devin Singletary had 33 yards on five touches and Najee Harris eked out just two rushing yards on four carries. With no one really stepping up in his place, Skattebo could return to a more significant role in Week 7 against the Texans, but it will be hard to trust any New York RB in fantasy lineups until one of them emerges from the pack.

J.J. McCarthy - Leads late comeback attempt in Week 6 loss McCarthy replaced Jameis Winston in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 34-27 loss to the Saints, completing 11 of 21 passes for 243 yards and one touchdown with one interception.
Impact After Winston tossed his second pick of the game, this one in New York territory, New Orleans turned the ensuing possession into a two-play TD drive to go ahead 34-10. McCarthy stepped in and immediately threw an INT of his own on his first drive, but he settled in after that and led the Giants on three straight scoring drives as they mounted a desperate, but ultimately unsuccessful, comeback. It's not clear which QB will get the start in Week 7 against the Texans, but coach John Harbaugh may view a Week 8 bye as a better time to make a permanent switch to McCarthy.
