Denico Autry - Returning this week? Head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters Monday that Autry is expected to be back from his six-game suspension this week, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact Autry inked a two-year, $20 million deal with the Texans this past offseason after posting 11.5 sacks with the Titans in 2023. After serving his six-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy against performance enhancing drugs, the first-year Texan is expected to make his 2024 debut against the Packers in Week 7. Expect Autry to serve as a rotational edge rusher behind both Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson.

K.J. Osborn - No snaps in Week 6 Osborn was active for Sunday's 41-21 loss to the Texans, but didn't play in the contest, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

Impact Osborn, who was inactive in Week 5 due to a shoulder injury, was limited in practice last week, but he ended up in uniform Sunday, with Tyquan Thornton and Javon Baker being healthy scratches versus Houston. While Osborn didn't see any snaps in the contest, DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Ja'Lynn Polk and Kendrick Bourne handled New England's WR duties. Perhaps once Osborn distances himself further from his shoulder issue, he'll find himself back in the rotation, but for now he's off the fantasy radar.

Joe Cardona - Dealing with personal matter Cardona was ruled out of Sunday's game versus the Texans due to a personal matter, not a calf injury, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

Impact The details surrounding Cardona's hiatus aren't clear at this point. New England's first official practice report of the week Wednesday could provide some clarity on his availability for Week 7.

Kendrick Bourne - Two catches versus Houston Bourne caught both of his targets for nine yards in Sunday's 41-21 loss to the Texans.

Impact Per Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald, Bourne -- who was activated from the PUP list ahead of Week 5 action -- said last week that it would take a couple of weeks for him to get back to 100 percent as he bounces back from a knee injury, with the wideout's snap count increasing from 16 snaps in his first game back to 34 snaps Sunday. With that in mind, it wouldn't surprise us to see Bourne's playing time continue to rise in Week 7 against the Jaguars, but for the time being he's a risky fantasy lineup option.

Vederian Lowe - To undergo MRI Coach Jerod Mayo said Monday that Lowe will have an MRI to evaluate the ankle injury he sustained during Sunday's game versus the Texans, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site...

Impact Lowe was knocked out of New England's contest in Week 6 after just 10 snaps, and now his team will have to hope his ankle issue doesn't keep him out even longer. 2022 Zachary Thomas is considered the next man up for the Patriots at tackle.

Ja'Lynn Polk - One catch in Week 6 Polk, who recorded 43 of a possible 66 snaps on offense in Sunday's 41-21 loss to the Texans, caught one of his four targets in the contest for four yards, Mike Reiss of ESPN.comm...

Impact Per Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald, Polk had one drop in the contest and got his hands on another pass that fell incomplete. With that in mind, coach Jerod Mayo acknowledged that the 2024 second-rounder's game has room for growth. "I think he just needs to get over this mental hump," Mayo said of Polk. "You've got to eliminate the dropped passes. You've got to be better at blocking, which he did a great job in college at that and at times throughout the season. He just has to continue to grow, and he has to work harder. He has to pay more attention to the details, and we fully expect him to grow into a receiver that's dependable on run and pass downs." Looking ahead, Polk figures to have more productive days as he builds on-field chemistry with fellow rookie Drake Maye, who has taken over as the Patriots' starting QB, but for now the wideout out of Washington isn't a high-percentage fantasy option.

Austin Hooper - One catch versus Texans Hooper logged 37 of 66 snaps on offense in Sunday's 41-21 loss to the Texans, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Hooper finished the contest with one catch on two targets for five yards, while fellow TE Hunter Henry (47 snaps) caught three of his five targets for 41 yards and a TD. With an 8/82/1 receiving line on 16 targets through six games, Hooper is off the fantasy radar in a time-share that continues to favor Henry.
