Ben Sims - Assumes backup role Sims was targeted twice and caught two passes for 38 yards in Sunday's 34-13 victory over the Cardinals.

Impact Sims took over the backup tight end spot with Luke Musgrave (ankle) landing on injured reserve, and he recorded his first two receptions of the season -- including a career-best 28-yard catch. Expect him to continue working as the No. 2 tight end behind Tucker Kraft until Musgrave is ready to return.

Impact Melton did not do much in the passing game, but he still made an impact in Sunday's contest with runs of 16 and 11 yards. Melton has not had many chances to contribute this season, but with fellow wideouts Jayden Reed (ankle) and Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) picking up injuries in Week 7, his opportunities could increase in Green Bay's impending matchup with Houston.

Impact The Packers gave Brooks some work while holding a comfortable lead in the fourth quarter of Sunday's contest, and he responded with a couple nice runs. His spot on the roster will be in jeopardy when fellow running back MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) returns, but he figures to remain Green Bay's third running back until then.

Emanuel Wilson - Makes most of opportunities Wilson had seven carries for 54 yards and one reception for 19 yards in Sunday's 34-13 victory over the Cardinals.

Impact Wilson played only 23 snaps in Week 6, but he got the ball on nearly a third of them and averaged an impressive 9.6 yards per touch. Wilson is averaging 5.0 yards on 42 carries on the season, so he is making a case to hold onto the backup job when backfield mate MarShawn Lloyd (ankle) returns. However, neither player will usurp the starting spot from Josh Jacobs as long as Jacobs remains upright.

Brayden Narveson - Inconsistency continues Narveson made two of three field-goal tries and all four extra points he attempted in Sunday's 34-13 victory over the Cardinals.

Impact Narveson converted six of his seven scoring opportunities on a wet and dreary day at Lambeau Field, which isn't too shabby for most kickers. However, he finished less than perfect for the fourth time in six appearances with the Packers and is now just 12-for-17 on field-goal attempts -- and he has not even attempted a kick from further than 49 yards. Green Bay has given no indication that they are considering a change at the kicker position, but Narveson's hold on the spot remains tenuous.

His week-to-week status suggests Wicks could miss Green Bay's Week 7 home game against the Texans, though his participation or lack thereof in practice will provide a hint as to his availability. Jayden Reed (ankle), Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs should continue to operate as the Packers' top three receivers.
