DeMarcus Lawrence - Set for extended absence Lawrence (foot) is expected to be out at least four weeks with a midfoot sprain, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact Lawrence is a prime candidate to be placed on injured reserve and he's expected to be reevaluated after four weeks. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Friday that he considers Lawrence's injury to be worse than Micah Parsons (ankle), who was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain. Chauncey Golston and Marshawn Kneeland are two candidates to see an increase in workload on the defensive line moving forward.

Theo Johnson - One catch in Week 4 Johnson caught his only target for six yards in Thursday's 20-15 loss to Dallas.

Impact Johnson was once again unable to make his mark on offense with New York, securing just one catch for the third time in four games. The tight end played a season-low 71 percent of the offensive snaps as Chris Manhertz and Daniel Bellinger also logged snaps. Johnson has compiled three catches for 37 yards on eight targets over four contests in 2024, remaining an unappealing fantasy option in Brian Daboll's offense.

Jalin Hyatt - One target in Week 4 Hyatt failed to catch his only target in Thursday's 20-15 loss to the Cowboys.

Impact Hyatt remained a non-factor for the Giants in Week 4, playing just 13 of the team's 69 offensive snaps. The wide receiver's lack of production against Dallas is rather disheartening knowing that Daniel Jones attempted 40 passes in the contest. Hyatt appears to be an afterthought in New York's offense early in 2024, buried beneath Malik Nabers (concussion), Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton at wide receiver.

Eric Gray - Minimal workload in Week 4 Gray rushed one time for one yard in Thursday's 20-15 loss to the Cowboys.

Impact Gray once again saw the majority of his workload come as a kick returner, producing 54 yards on two returns. He played just five out of the team's 69 offensive snaps, operating as the clear No. 3 option at running back behind Devin Singletary and Tyrone Tracy. Through four games in 2024, Gray has compiled seven yards on four carries while playing 15 total offensive snaps.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. - Limited production in Week 4 Tracy rushed four times for two yards and secured one catch for 19 yards in Thursday's 20-15 loss to the Cowboys.

Impact Tracy saw his usage decrease slightly in Week 4, playing 15 offensive snaps against Dallas. The rookie made his most significant play in the third quarter, turning a short pass into a 19-yard reception. Tracy remains firmly behind Devin Singletary in New York's backfield, though he has distanced himself from Eric Gray to operate as the team's clear No. 2 option at running back.
