Chris Boswell - Makes 54-yard field goal in loss Boswell converted his lone field-goal attempt while making both of his extra-point tries during Saturday's 19-17 loss to Cincinnati.
Impact Pittsburgh's offense struggled to generate much production in Saturday's regular-season finale, but Boswell was perfect when called upon, including a 54-yard made field goal with 2:39 remaining in the matchup to bring the game within two points. The 33-year-old put together a career-best year in multiple areas during the regular season, including made field goals and makes from 50-plus yards. He made 41 of 44 field-goal attempts while converting all 35 of his extra-point tries this season.

Van Jefferson - Tallies three catches in defeat Jefferson secured three of four targets for 18 yards during Saturday's 19-17 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Although the Steelers' passing game largely struggled in Saturday's regular-season finale, Jefferson had multiple receptions for the second time over the last six weeks. The 28-year-old was inconsistent throughout the regular season, including against the Ravens, who the Steelers will face in next weekend's wild-card round. He failed to secure his lone target in the Week 11 meeting between the two teams but secured two of three targets for 27 yards against Baltimore in Week 16.

Calvin Austin III - Fails to catch lone target in loss Austin failed to secure his lone target during Saturday's 19-17 loss to the Bengals.
Impact Austin had one of his best three-game stretches of the year leading up to Saturday's regular-season finale, as he secured 13 of 15 targets for 161 yards. However, he was held in check in Week 18 as the Steelers passed for just 148 yards. Pittsburgh will face Baltimore in a wild-card matchup Jan. 11, and Austin secured five of seven targets for 64 yards during his two regular-season appearances against the Ravens this year.

Cade York - Makes all five kicks vs. Pittsburgh York made all four of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try during the Bengals' 19-17 win over the Steelers.
Impact York missed three kicks over his last three games heading into Saturday's regular-season finale, but the third-year kicker was flawless in a must-win game. The Bengals' offense went 1-for-4 on red zone drives, which put York in a position to convert on easier kicks, with three of his four field-goal attempts coming from within 40 yards. He served as Cincinnati's placekicker for the final five games of the regular season due to Evan McPherson (groin) going on IR. Over that span, York went 9-for-11 on field-goal attempts and 14-for-15 on extra-point tries. It's unclear whether York or McPherson would handle kicking duties in the wild-card round if the Bengals make the playoffs with a Broncos' loss and a Dolphins' loss or tie.

Tee Higgins - Tending to high-ankle sprain Higgins disclosed after exiting in the second half of Saturday's 19-17 win over the Steelers that he is tending to a left high-ankle sprain, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Impact Higgins has taken questionable tags into the Bengals' past two games with both ankle and knee injury, though it's the former issue that has been the greater concern. Despite managing the high-ankle sprain, Higgins produced a monstrous 11-131-3 line on 12 targets in a Week 17 overtime win over Denver, but he was limited to four catches for 53 yards on five targets while playing 50 of 74 offensive snaps Saturday before seemingly aggravating the injury late in the contest and not returning. Higgins said after Saturday's game that he plans to play through the ankle injury if Cincinnati clinches a spot on the postseason, with the Bengals needing a Broncos loss to the Chiefs plus a Dolphins loss or tie with the Jets on Sunday to secure a wild-card berth.
