10 things we learned in NFL Week 17: Late-season breakouts, ends of eras and more

Xavier Hutchinson - Stays healthy in win Hutchinson caught two of three targets for eight yards in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Titans in Week 17.

Impact Hutchinson was on the field for 26 snaps and had one red-zone target in the win. Both he and fellow depth receiver John Metchie benefitted from injuries up the depth chart. Both Noah Brown and Robert Woods were removed from the game with hip injuries. That sets up a Week 18 scenario where Hutchinson is among the top three wideouts when Houston travels to Indianapolis for a game with playoff implications.

Derrick Henry - Held to 12 touches Henry rushed the ball 12 times for 42 yards in Sunday's 26-3 loss to the Texans. He was targeted once but did not record a catch.

Impact Henry was limited by game script, as the Titans found themselves down by 20 points before halftime. He was held to his lowest carry total since Week 11 as a result and was held under 50 rushing yards for the third time in his last four games. He's masked his yardage shortcomings by finding the end zone twice in four of his last six games, though he's become an unreliable weekly option down the stretch of the fantasy season.

DeAndre Hopkins - Reaches 1,000 yards Hopkins recorded seven receptions on seven targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 26-3 loss to the Texans.

Impact Hopkins caught passes from both Will Levis (foot) and Ryan Tannehill and led the team in targets, receptions and yards. He did the majority of his damage after the catch and rebounded from his past two performances, during which he combined to record only 41 yards. While it has been far from Hopkins' most productive season, he surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2020 while being held back by subpar quarterback play throughout the campaign.
