Kaden Elliss - Tallies eight tackles in lossElliss recorded eight tackles (three solo) in Monday's 17-16 loss to the Buccaneers.
ImpactElliss tied with cornerbacks Alontae Taylor and Bradley Roby for the Saints' second-most tackles behind strong safety Marcus Maye. The fourth-year linebacker has risen into an extremely prominent role since starter Pete Werner went down with an ankle injury Week 9, recording 40 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one pass defended over the last four games. Elliss played a relatively moderate role over the first eight weeks of the season, though his performance over the past month may have earned him increased playing time even if Werner manages to return following New Orleans' Week 14 bye.

Bradley Roby - Eight stops MondayRoby recorded eight tackles (six solo) and one pass defended during Monday's 17-16 defeat versus the Buccaneers.
ImpactRoby managed to suit up Week 13 after sustaining a concussion in New Orleans' Week 12 loss to the 49ers, and he recorded a season high in tackles versus Tampa Bay. The 30-year-old also continued to play nearly every defensive snap alongside starting cornerbacks Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor, as top cover man Marshon Lattimore (abdomen) remained out for the eighth game in a row. It's possible Roby's playing time could take a hit if Lattimore is able to return following the Saints' Week 14 bye.

Marcus Maye - Team-high 11 stopsMaye recorded 11 tackles (eight solo) during Monday's 17-16 loss to the Buccaneers.
ImpactMaye made an early impact Monday night, logging six tackles on Tampa Bay's 16-play opening drive. As a result, the safety went on to finish as the Saints' leading tackler, and he recorded double-digit stops for the second time this season. Maye has put up consistent production when healthy this season, logging 53 tackles over nine games, though he's yet to notch a pass defended. He'll look to continue providing a physical presence on the back end of New Orleans' defense following the team's Week 14 bye.

Wil Lutz - Reliable performance in MNFLutz converted all three field goal attempts and his only extra-point try during Monday's 17-16 defeat to Tampa Bay.
ImpactLutz's production benefitted from the Saints' struggles to come away with touchdowns in the red zone, as he converted field goals of 38, 21 and 29 yards. The sixth-year kicker has now made 20 of his 26 field goals while converting all 25 of his point-after-tries this season. Lutz has also failed to connect on just two kicking attempts since Week 4. The Saints are on bye Week 14, but he should see a healthy number of opportunities when the team takes on an Atlanta defense that ranks 29th in total yards Week 15.
DECEMBER 7, 2022ROTOWIRE
Adam Trautman - Moderate outing despite No. 1 roleTrautman notched two receptions (on three targets) for 28 yards during Monday's 17-16 defeat to the Buccaneers.
ImpactTrautman played a season-high 80 percent of the Saints' offensive snaps with Juwan Johnson (ankle) ruled out Week 13. Practice squad tight end Lucas Krull only saw action on 11 of the team's 59 offensive snaps while Taysom Hill continued to slot into a multi-purpose role as a rusher, passer and receiver. However, Trautman did not see a corresponding increase in production, as he merely matched his existing season high in targets while falling shy of his season high in receiving yards set Week 4. With the Saints heading into a bye Week 14, it's likely that Trautman will fall back into his usual split duties if Johnson manages to return against Atlanta on Sunday, Dec. 18.
DECEMBER 7, 2022ROTOWIRE
Jarvis Landry - Two catches in MNFLandry notched two receptions (on three targets) for 14 yards during Monday's 17-16 defeat against the Buccaneers.
ImpactLandry continued to play a minimal role for New Orleans, as all three of his targets came on passes of fewer than 10 yards. This included a bad drop late in the second quarter when he attempted to bring a ball in with one hand, resulting in a failed third-down conversion in the red zone. Landry also tied with running back Alvin Kamara, tight end Adam Trautman and swiss-army-knife Taysom Hill for the team's fourth-most targets Week 13. The slot wideout's lack of downfield opportunities, combined with this log jam of short-yardage receivers, will keep his upside limited outside of the occasional scoring chance in the red zone.
