Blanked in Week 10 winJohnson failed to bring in his only target in the Buccaneers' 46-23 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
ImpactThe rookie played just nine snaps from scrimmage overall, not entirely surprising considering the Buccaneers' receiving corps was at full health. Johnson was overthrown by Tom Brady on his one target, and he now has logged just two targets in the pair of contests Antonio Brown has played in thus far.

Not ruled out for Week 11Coach Matt Rhule said Monday that he's hopeful about the chances of McCaffrey (shoulder) retaking the field against the Lions on Sunday, Kristen Balboni of the Panthers' official s...
ImpactOptimism aside, Rhule also said that McCaffrey remains week-to-week and that he's heard "nothing different" about the star running back's recovery from an AC joint injury, according to Steve Reed of the Associated Press. Similarly, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that McCaffrey is unlikely to face Detroit and that the Panthers haven't ruled out a multi-week absence. That said, Rhule is at least leaving the door open for a tentative Week 11 return. McCaffrey couldn't practice in any capacity last week, so if he's able to resume handling some amount of reps in the coming days, he at least could have a shot at suiting up Sunday.

Could be sidelinedCoach Matt Rhule said that Jackson "re-aggravated" his toe injury during Sunday's loss to the Buccaneers, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ImpactJackson's a starting cornerback for the Panthers and has suited up in all 10 games so far, but he's played more than 50 percent of the defensive snaps on just four occasions due to his recurring toe injury. Rhule relayed that the team is looking at its options when asked whether they'd sit him going forward, and that may be necessary to finally get Jackson to 100 percent.

Could practice WednesdayCoach Matt Rhule is hopeful that Bridgewater (knee) will be able to practice Wednesday, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
ImpactBridgewater underwent an MRI to address a knee injury which forced him out in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 46-23 loss to the Buccaneers, the results of which revealed an MCL sprain. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the Panthers consider Bridgewater day-to-day, and Reed notes that Rhule said his quarterback "does not have a significant injury." If he's able to resume practicing quickly, it sounds like Bridgewater could have a solid shot to suit up against Detroit in Week 11. In the event that he misses time, on the other hand, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports that Will Grier and P.J. Walker will compete for the chance to start.

Posts five stopsGross-Matos made five tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 46-23 loss to the Buccaneers.
ImpactGross-Matos made his first career start with Stephen Weatherly (finger) on injured reserve, and he ended up logging a 61 percent snap share and a season high in tackles. The rookie second-rounder out of Penn State was drafted 38th overall in large part due to his pass-rushing ability, but he hasn't had much success in that arena yet, posting just one sack and four quarterback pressures through six games. He'll have two more games before Weatherly is eligible to return, though, so perhaps he can get into a rhythm with a consistent workload on tap.
