Paces pass catchers Thursday Franklin secured five of six targets for 50 yards in the Broncos' 33-10 win over the Saints on Thursday night.

Impact Franklin led the Broncos across the board in receiving stats, setting the pace in receptions, receiving yards and targets. The rookie also tallied a team-high 30-yard catch, and all of his metrics Thursday qualified as season/career highs. The one time college teammate of Bo Nix appears to be upping his NFL chemistry with him heading into a favorable Week 8 home matchup against the Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Finds end zone in loss Franklin caught two of three targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chargers. He added one rush for five yards.

Impact Franklin's trip to the end zone was the first of his young career while the rookie saw a major uptick in his usage in Week 6. The wideout played 65 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday after averaging a roughly 22 percent snap share in his first four games. Franklin is a talented wideout who should continue to develop within the Broncos' passing attack, especially with an existing connection with his college quarterback Bo Nix at the helm in Denver. The 21-year-old will look to build off his solid performance against the Chargers when the Broncos visit the Saints in Week 7.

Minimal involvement against Raiders Franklin caught one of his two targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 34-18 win over the Raiders.

Impact Franklin played just 11 of the Broncos' 63 offensive snaps Sunday, the fewest of any Denver wide receiver. Despite his minimal usage, the rookie hit a season-high for receiving yards (20) on his one catch against the Raiders. Its possible that Franklin's role could grow within Denver's offense as the season progresses while his college teammate and current quarterback Bo Nix continues to develop this season. Until then, the former Oregon wideout will be off the fantasy radar. The Broncos are set to host the Chargers in Week 6.

Four targets in win Franklin secured two of his four targets for minus-2 yards in Sunday's 10-9 win over the Jets.

Impact Though Franklin has seen his snap share increase each week, the rookie wideout continues to struggle to get things going as part of a floundering Denver offense. The Oregon product currently sits fourth on the wide receiver depth chart behind Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds and Lil'Jordan Humphrey, so he should continue to see limited opportunities barring injuries. Franklin should not be trusted for fantasy purposes in Week 5 when the Broncos host the Raiders.

Two grabs in Week 3 Franklin caught two of five targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Buccaneers.

Impact Franklin's two catches were his first grabs of the season after being held catchless in his Week 2 debut. The rookie wideout played 25 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday, up from his 18 percent snap share in Week 2. His five targets in the contest were the third most of any Denver pass catcher, behind Courtland Sutton (11) and Lil'Jordan Humphrey (8). Despite his increased involvement, Franklin's position on the depth chart with an inefficient passing attack both work against him in his ability to produce for fantasy purposes. The 21-year-old Oregon product will continue to be difficult to trust in a Week 4 matchup against the Jets.

Held catchless in debut Frankin failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Steelers.

Impact After being a healthy scratch in Week 1, Franklin was a complete non-factor against the Steelers in Week 2. The rookie wideout saw the field for 12 of the Broncos' 61 offensive snaps, and he was unable to connect with his former college quarterback Bo Nix on the one target thrown his direction. Buried on the depth chart in a struggling passing attack, Franklin should remain far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 3 matchup with the Buccaneers.

Set to make NFL debut Week 2 Franklin is in line to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Steelers, Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette reports.

Impact Franklin was a healthy inactive in last week's loss to Seattle, but he'll enter the wide receiver rotation in Week 2 with fellow rookie wideout Devaughn Vele (ribs) ruled out. Prior to being a fourth-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, Franklin spent the 2023 season catching pass at Oregon from Bo Nix, who is now Denver's starting quarterback.

Healthy scratch in Week 1 Franklin (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Seahawks.

Impact The rookie fourth-round pick will have to wait until at least Week 2 against the Steelers to make his NFL debut. Franklin reportedly made good progress during training camp and preseason, but he enters his first professional campaign behind Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds, Marvin Mims and Devaughn Vele in the wideout pecking order.

Showing development as a rookie Franklin has made solid progress ahead of the 2024 season, and head coach Sean Payton is pleased with where he is at in his development, Nick Kosmider of the Athletic reports.

Impact Franklin had an underwhelming training camp and preseason after the Broncos traded up in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft to select him. The rookie wideout failed to record a single catch in his first two preseason games, but he did show flashes as a deep threat at certain points in camp. Despite Franklin's inconsistent start, Payton stated "he has rare speed and he's very comfortable catching an in-route and then, all of a sudden, he's taking it for a big gain." Both his big play potential and his connection with Bo Nix, his college quarterback, could afford the 21-year-old the opportunity to see some playing time as a rookie, especially if there are injuries within Denver's wide receiver corps during the season. With that said, Franklin will likely have an uphill battle for consistent usage behind Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds and Marvin Mims when all three are healthy.

Two touches in win Franklin caught his lone target for 21 yards and carried once for nine yards in Sunday's 38-12 preseason win over the Cardinals.

Impact Franklin finally found his way onto the stat sheet in Sunday's preseason finale, handling his first two touches while playing 50 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps in the contest. The rookie wideout is a work-in-progress, however, he finds himself in a solid situation that could help in his development in Denver. Bo Nix, his college quarterback, was named the starter ahead of Week 1, so the history the two have with one another could bode well for the 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver. In addition, it appears the Broncos will cut ties with veteran wideout Tim Patrick ahead of the 2024 campaign, according to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. With final roster cuts upcoming, Franklin is positioned to make the 53-man roster in a depth role behind Courtland Sutton, Josh Reynolds and Marvin Mims.
