Hauls in long TD in wild-card loss Franklin caught two of three targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card round loss to the Bills.

Impact The rookie wideout got behind the Buffalo secondary for a 43-yard score on Denver's first possession, but it proved to be the only points the visitors would manage to produce. Franklin came into the NFL with more intrigue than a typical fourth-round pick given that he was reuniting with his college QB, but while Bo Nix thrived in his debut campaign, his top target at Oregon had trouble gaining separation against pro defenders. Sunday's long TD offered a reminder of Franklin's potential, but even if the young WR heads into training camp physically ready for a Year 2 breakout -- he doesn't turn 22 until early February -- target volume could still be hard to come by as the No. 3 or No. 4 option in the passing game.

Scores two touchdowns as rookie Franklin finished the 2024 regular season with 28 receptions on 53 targets for 263 yards and two touchdowns.

Impact Franklin's rookie campaign was relatively quiet, as the Oregon product played just 365 offensive snaps across the 16 games he appeared in. Playing in the No. 4 wide receiver role, the 21-year-old played over 50 percent of snaps in a contest just once this season. Franklin's limited role and lack of experience certain capped his potential this season, but his continued development should be a positive sign for the fourth-round pick. Additionally, quarterback Bo Nix has played well as a rookie and should continue to develop alongside Franklin, his college teammate. With more experience, Franklin could see his role increase in 2025 as a member of Denver's young receiving corps.

Targeted twice against Bengals Franklin secured one of two targets for minus-1 yard in Saturday's 30-24 loss to the Bengals.

Impact Franklin was a complete non-factor in Saturday's contest, with his one catch and 33 percent snap share counting for his lowest totals in each category since Week 10. The rookie wideout is not being utilized consistently enough to be trusted for fantasy purposes, though he should continue to build upon his chemistry with his college teammate Bo Nix to develop in the Broncos' offense going forward. Franklin should remain off the fantasy radar, however, heading into a Week 18 matchup against Kansas City.

Reels in two passes Franklin caught one of three targets for 25 yards in Thursday's 34-27 loss to the Chargers.

Impact Franklin recorded just two receptions for the fifth straight game, bringing him to 25 catches for 252 yards and two touchdowns on the season. The rookie played 26 of the Broncos' 64 offensive snaps Thursday, behind fellow receivers Courtland Sutton (58), Devaughn Vele (36) and Marvin Mims (30). Franklin will continue to be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes while competing for targets as Denver's No. 4 wideout. Next up for the Broncos is a matchup against the Bengals in Week 17.

Two catches against Colts Franklin caught two of five targets for nine yards in Sunday's 31-13 win over the Colts.

Impact Operating as Denver's No. 3 wide receiver, played 29 of the Broncos' 63 offensive snaps behind Courtland Sutton (57) and Devaughn Vele (38). Sunday's contest marked the fourth straight game in which the rookie wideout recorded two grabs. With that said, his limited involvement has not led to much statistical production for the Oregon product. Franklin should remain off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 16 matchup against the Chargers.

Minimal production in win Franklin caught two of his five targets for 28 yards in Monday's 41-32 win over the Browns.

Impact Franklin has now recorded just two receptions in three straight games, while playing around 42 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps per game in that span. The rookie wideout has played in a secondary role in Denver's offense as he continues to develop in head coach Sean Payton's system. Franklin's chemistry with quarterback Bo Nix from their time at Oregon has helped him to garner steady targets throughout the season, but he isn't seeing enough volume to be trusted for fantasy purposes. The 21-year-old heads into the Broncos' Week 14 bye with a total of 21 catches for 218 yards and two touchdowns through 12 games. The Broncos will return from the bye to host the Colts on Dec. 15.

Two grabs against Las Vegas Franklin caught two of four targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 29-19 win over the Raiders.

Impact Franklin continued his mostly underwhelming rookie campaign Sunday, managing to reel in just two passes from quarterback Bo Nix against the Raiders. Through 11 games, the 21-year-old wideout has recorded over two catches in just one contest and is averaging roughly three targets per game. Franklin's role as Denver's No. 4 wide receiver limits his potential upside while he contends for targets and playing time with fellow receivers Courtland Sutton, Devaughn Vele, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Marvin Mims. Barring injuries, the Oregon product will likely continue to see an uphill battle for consistent usage going forward. The Broncos are set to host the Browns in a Week 13 matchup on Monday Night Football.

Finds end zone in Week 11 Franklin caught both of his targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-6 win over the Falcons.

Impact Franklin's touchdown against Atlanta was his second of the season, as the rookie wideout continues to play in a rotational role in the Broncos' passing offense. The Oregon product played 44 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday, and he's played over 50 percent of snaps in just one of his 10 games this season. Though Franklin's development thus far has been a positive sign for his future NFL success, his limited usage makes him unreliable for fantasy purposes. The Broncos head to Las Vegas for a matchup with the Raiders in Week 12.

Minimal production in loss Franklin caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 16-14 loss to the Chiefs.

Impact Franklin recorded just one catch for the third-straight contest, as the rookie has played snap percentages of 40 percent or less in that stretch. The 21-year-old has seen his usage diminish as quarterback Bo Nix has consistently spread the ball around in recent weeks. As Franklin's connection with Nix is already established from their time playing together at Oregon, the wideout should see his role improve in Denver's offense as he continues to develop in the NFL. However, barring injuries, Franklin should be difficult to trust going forward to see enough looks in the passing game to make him viable for fantasy purposes on a weekly basis. He'll look to get more involved in a Week 11 matchup against the Falcons.

NOVEMBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE

One grab in Week 9 Franklin caught one of four targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Ravens.

Impact Franklin finished Sunday's game third in targets behind fellow wideouts Courtland Sutton (10) and Lil'Jordan Humphrey (5). Unfortunately, the rookie receiver was only able to reel in one pass from quarterback Bo Nix. Though Nix and Franklin have begun to develop their chemistry in the NFL after playing together at Oregon, the pair will likely continue to be inconsistent as the Broncos' offense goes through growing pains during the 2024 campaign. Franklin will look to bounce back in Week 10, albeit in a tough matchup against the division-rival Chiefs.
