Big game in loss Tucker recorded seven receptions on nine targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Panthers.
Impact Tucker was targeted four times during garbage time drives in the final quarter, but the Raiders also seemed to prioritize getting the ball to him early in the game. His biggest play of the contest came late in the first quarter on a 54-yard catch deep down the middle of the field, and he also chipped in a touchdown to conclude the Raiders' final offensive drive. In more typical game scripts, Tucker is likely to serve as the Raiders' primary deep threat while seeing only a few targets per game.

Impact Tucker has posted a disappointing 4-35-0 receiving line on five total targets through the Raiders' first two contests despite relatively pass-friendly environments, continuing to take a back seat to Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers in the pecking order for looks from quarterback Gardner Minshew. On a more positive note, Tucker's 69-percent offensive snap share through two weeks is a promising development for the speedster in the WR3 role after his playing time was much less abundant last year as a rookie.

Impact Tucker secured a game-long 48-yard grab from Gardner Minshew on the first play of the second possession, a drive that ended in a field goal. Tucker also contributed solid gains on his other two catches and rattled off a 43-yard punt return while also seeing a 29-yard runback erased by an illegal block. Impact Davante Adams got the night off, leaving Jakobi Meyers and Tucker as the Raiders' starting wideouts, and the latter wound up leading the team in receiving yards thanks to gains of 29 and 44 yards on successive second-quarter touchdown drives with Gardner Minshew under center. Tucker has drawn plenty of praise from the coaching staff in camp, and the 2023 third-round pick could be headed for a breakout campaign if he can earn enough volume in a passing game that also has to find targets for tight ends Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer.
