Placed on COVID-19 list Barrett (knee) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers official site reports.

Impact Barrett had already been ruled out for the rest of the regular season. However, there are expectations he could return for the playoffs, so it is possible Barrett may not miss additional time despite the move into COVID protocols. However, he will be unable to rehab his sprained MCL and ACL at the Buccaneers' facilities until he clears protocols.

Progressing in recovery Coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday that he's hopeful Barrett (knee) will be able to return for the first week of the playoffs, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
