Irvin Charles - Activated from injured reserve Tuesday Charles (knee) was activated from injured reserve Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Impact Charles was acquired from the Jets during the offseason but hasn't played a snap for Seattle because of a knee injury. However, with his removal from the IR, he is expected to make his debut with the Seahawks on Thursday versus Denver and anticipated to hold a prominent role on special teams. To make room for Charles, Velus Jones was released.

2026 NFL Power Rankings Week 6: The 49ers Have It All; Steelers Make Big Move Up

A certain truth is emerging in the NFL, while the Cowboys' flaw run deeper than we thought they did.

2026 NFL Power Rankings Week 6: The 49ers Have It All; Steelers Make Big Move Up
George Holani - Eight touches in loss Holani rushed four times for seven yards and lost a fumble while reeling in all four of his targets for 24 yards during Sunday's 32-29 loss to the 49ers.
Impact Holani was unable to get much going on the ground in Week 5, and he put the ball on the ground twice in the contest, the latter of which resulted in a defensive touchdown for San Francisco with 18 seconds left in the first half. The running back entered the game having dealt with both a knee injury and an injured rib at practice throughout the week, but he was ultimately good to go, and he was estimated to be a full participant on the Seahawks' injury report Monday. With Zach Charbonnet (knee) not expected back in Week 6, Holani will once again operate as a top backup option behind Emanuel Wilson in the backfield against the Broncos on Thursday Night Football.
OCTOBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
Tory Horton - Not targeted in loss Horton did not draw any targets during Sunday's 32-29 loss versus the 49ers.
Impact Horton played just nine offensive snaps in Week 5, the fewest in any game he's suited up for so far this season. Barring an injury ahead of him on the Seahawks' depth chart, he's unlikely to draw enough targets to warrant fantasy consideration in most formats going into a Week 6 tilt against the Broncos.
OCTOBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
Rashid Shaheed - Two catches in defeat Shaheed caught two of four targets for 23 yards while also adding 86 kickoff-return yards during Sunday's 32-29 loss to the 49ers.
Impact Shaheed was held to two or fewer catches for the fourth time in five games, and he has yet to score a touchdown through the air through the air this year. The wide receiver played a season-low 28 offensive snaps in Week 5, and his upside is rather low as a fantasy asset at the moment. On the year, Shaheed has caught nine of 19 targets for 96 yards while adding three carries for 37 yards and a touchdown and 359 yards as a kick returner.
OCTOBER 13 • ROTOWIRE
AJ Barner - Makes three catches in loss Barner caught three of five targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 32-29 loss versus the 49ers.
Impact Barner easily paced Seattle's tight ends in terms of offensive snaps (58) in Week 5, and his five targets represented his second best mark of the season so far. The majority of his targets continue to come underneath, however, and he's still looking for his first receiving touchdown of the campaign. The Seahawks will travel to take on Denver in Week 6.

Drew Lock - Dealing with forearm injury Lock (forearm) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact It's unclear when Lock picked up the injury, given that he did not play a single snap during Sunday's 32-29 loss to San Francisco. He's got two more chances to increase his practice participation, but if he cannot play against the Broncos on Thursday, then Jalen Milroe would serve as the Seahawks' backup quarterback behind Sam Darnold.
OCTOBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Drake Thomas - Estimated as limited Monday Thomas (ankle) was listed as a limited practice participant on Monday's estimated report, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact Thomas injured his ankle during the first half of Sunday's 32-29 loss to the 49ers and did not return. The short week doesn't give Thomas much time to recover, but his practice participation over the next two days will shed light on his chances of playing against the Broncos on Thursday.
OCTOBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Irvin Charles - Full participant on Monday's estimate Charles (knee) was estimated as a full practice participant on Monday's injury report, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Impact Charles' 21-day practice window opened this past Wednesday, but he was not activated from injured reserve before the Seahawks' 32-29 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. He could be removed from IR ahead of Thursday's game against the Broncos, but Charles would have to log a full session during a normal practice to have a realistic chance of playing against Denver.
