Allen-led Bills throttle division rival Patriots, 47-17

Josh Allen set a franchise record by throwing five touchdown passes and the Buffalo Bills showed who's king of the AFC East with a 47-17 throttling of the New England Patriots in a...

Makes seven of eight in finale Succop drilled field goals of 39 and 40 yards, missed a 46-yard attempt short and converted all five extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 41-17 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
Impact The 11-point effort to close out the regular season was a boon for fantasy managers rolling with Succop in any Week 18 championship games, and it qualified as his second double-digit point tally in the last three weeks. Succop's 46-yard miss did snap a streak of eight straight field-goal makes for the veteran, and the 83.3 percent success rate he finished with in that category qualified as his lowest in a full season since 2017. Nevertheless, the Buccaneers will hope the 35-year-old is as locked in during the upcoming postseason as he was during last season's championship run, when he went 9-for-9 on field-goal attempts and 12-for-13 on extra-point tries over four games.

Perfect in Week 17 win Succop converted field-goal attempts from 27 and 39 yards and also drilled his two extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 28-24 win over the Jets on Sunday
Impact The veteran kicker missed an opportunity at even more productive day when the Buccaneers went for two points following their final touchdown. Succop has now drilled six straight field-goal attempts to up his success rate in that category to 85.2 percent, inching him closer to the impressive 90.3 percent figure he posted during the team's championship 2020 season.
JANUARY 4, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Bounces back with prolific day Succop connected on field-goal attempts of 36, 43, 21 and 48 yards and also made both his extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 32-6 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
Impact The 14 total points was a season high for the veteran and only his third double-digit tally of the campaign. Succop had been completely blanked on the stat sheet in the 9-0 loss to the Saints in Week 15, so to label Sunday's resurgence a particularly timely breakout is an understatement. Despite the favorable matchup for the Buccaneers' offense in Week 17 against the Jets, Succop may still be the beneficiary of multiple field-goal opportunities stemming from stalled drives, as Mike Evans (hamstring, reserve/COVID-19) may miss another contest and therefore leave Tom Brady with a thin receiving corps once again.

Complete blanking in loss Succop missed his only kick, a 45-yard field-goal attempt, wide left in the Buccaneers' 9-0 loss to the Saints on Sunday night.
Impact One would have gotten very good odds before the season on Succop suffering a blanking on the stat sheet at any point in 2021, but that's precisely what unfolded Sunday night in a shocking shutout loss for the defending champions. One of several reasons for the significant struggles of the Buccaneers' offense against the Saints was the in-game injuries suffered by multiple key players, the most serious being Chris Godwin's season-ending ACL tear. With Tampa Bay set to operate short-handed to some degree for the remaining three games of the regular season, Succop could be the beneficiary in the form of a few more stalled drives than usual culminating in field-goal opportunities.

Injuries growing concern as Bucs close in on NFC South title

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to win the NFC South barring a total collapse over the final three weeks of the regular season
DECEMBER 21, 2021 • Associated Press
Perfect on five kicks Succop drilled field-goal attempts of 23 and 24 yards and also made all three extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 33-27 overtime win over the Bills on Sunday.
Impact Succop was perfect on all kicks for the third time in four games, with his unblemished tally pushing his field-goal success rate back up to 85.0 percent. Succop has attempted well over two times more extra points than field goals due to the efficiency of the Buccaneers offense, but he retains plenty of upside going into a Week 15 divisional showdown against the Saints.
DECEMBER 14, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Totals six points in win Succop connected on a 31-yard field-goal attempt and drilled three of four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 30-17 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Impact Succop inched his success rate on field goals to 83.3 percent with his one make Sunday, but he missed his third extra-point try of the season late in the first quarter following the Buccaneers' second touchdown of the afternoon. His occasional misfires aside, Succop continues to be a coveted weekly option in all formats due to his connection to a Tampa Bay offense that's now scored at least 30 points in three straight contests.

The Latest: Kickers had 7 missed XPs in afternoon games

With only the Sunday night matchup between the Broncos and Chiefs remaining, kickers have already combined to miss seven extra points on the day
DECEMBER 5, 2021 • Associated Press
Busy, perfect in win Succop made his sole field-goal attempt from 25 yards out and drilled all five extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 38-31 win over the Colts on Sunday.
Impact The Buccaneers' offense's efficiency capped Succop's overall production, but it was encouraging to see the veteran turn in his second consecutive perfect effort. Succop actually hasn't missed on a field-goal try since Week 7, inching his success rate in that category back up to 82.4 percent. That figure still leaves plenty of room for improvement, but Succop continues to hold plenty of fantasy appeal due to his attachment to Tampa Bay's offensive machine.

Perfect versus Giants Succop made all three of his field-goal attempts as well as all three of his extra-point tries in Monday night's 30-10 win over the Giants.
Impact Succop converted from 25, 40 and 30 yards on his field goals, helping him hit double-figure points for the second time this season. Through 10 games, he now sports 75 total points, placing just outside the top 10 league-wide among kickers.
NOVEMBER 24, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Seven points in loss Succop converted field-goal attempts from 25 and 31 yards and one of two extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 29-19 loss to Washington on Sunday.
Impact The veteran kicker missed his second extra-point try of the season, but he upped his success rate on field goals to 76.9 percent with his two makes. Succop is averaging the same seven points he recorded Sunday on a per-game basis this season and should have plenty of opportunities in a Monday night Week 11 matchup against the Giants.

Limited to extra points in loss Succop did not attempt a field goal and drilled all three extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 36-27 loss to the Saints on Sunday.
Impact The veteran kicker failed to log a field-goal attempt for the third time this season and second time in the last three games. Succop's three-point output was also a low-water mark on the campaign, as the Buccaneers offense played an atypically uneven game against a feisty Saints defense. A Week 10 date with the vulnerable Washington defense following the Week 9 bye may help push Succop back up to his usual levels of production.
NOVEMBER 1, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Contributes eight points in win Succop missed a 43-yard field-goal try wide right, drilled a 22-yard attempt and connected on all five PATs in the Buccaneers' 38-3 win over the Bears on Sunday.
Impact The veteran kicker has now missed one field-goal try from every range above 20-29 yards, which has knocked his accuracy to a lowly 72.7 percent (11 attempts). He is an impressive 29-for-30 on extra-point tries and remains attached to one of the most prolific offenses in the league, however, keeping his fantasy value high headed into a dome game against the Saints in Week 8.

Limited to extra points in win Succop did not attempt any field goals and drilled all four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 28-22 win over the Eagles on Thursday night.
Impact The veteran kicker had a relatively easy and mostly pressure-free night, and he was automatic on all four point-after attempts. There will be games such as Thursday's during which the efficiency of the Buccaneers' offense caps Succop's fantasy upside, but he still has a solid 45 points through six games heading into a Week 7 home matchup versus the Bears a week from Sunday.
OCTOBER 16, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Another busy day Sunday Succop made his only field-goal attempt (42 yards) and drilled all six extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 45-17 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
Impact Succop enjoyed a perfect day after missing either a field-goal or extra-point attempt in each of the last three games. Punter Bradley Pinion was also notably brought on to attempt a 60-yard field goal that couldn't find the uprights as time expired in the first half, as that attempt was deemed to clearly be outside Succop's range. The veteran kicker has been productive for fantasy managers despite the aforementioned trio of misfires, as he's garnered a solid 41 points through five games.
OCTOBER 12, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Highly productive in close win Succop drilled field goals of 29, 44, 27 and 48 yards, missed a 36-yard attempt wide right and made his only extra-point try in the Buccaneers' 19-17 win over the Patriots on Sunda...
Impact Succop was one of the Buccaneers' best offensive weapons on a night when the Patriots defense seemed to play with an extra sense of urgency against team legend Tom Brady. The veteran kicker had his busiest game of the season yet in terms of field goals, and his 48-yarder in the rain with 1:57 remaining proved to be the difference in the contest. Succop did miss a field-goal attempt for the second straight game, and unlike a Week 3 misfire from 55 yards out, Sunday night's came from the very makeable distance of 36 yards. Nevertheless, the 35-year-old remains a solid fantasy asset going into a Week 5 home matchup against the Dolphins that could afford a robust amount of scoring opportunities.

Six total points in loss Succop made a 26-yard field goal, misfired on a 55-yard attempt and drilled all three extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 34-24 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Impact Succop's miss is excusable to an extent given the distance, and he was otherwise perfect on the day. The veteran remains a strong week-to-week option irrespective of his underwhelming showing on Sunday, which was largely circumstantial. He'll look to bounce back with a more robust fantasy tally in a Week 4 road battle against the Patriots.
