Carted off with non-contact injury Smith (knee) was carted off the field at Wednesday's practice due to a non-contact knee injury, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.

Impact Moore's injury caused Wednesday's joint session of Falcons-Dolphins practice to be called early, and it appears that the issue could be severe. That would be brutal news for the 2021 second-round pick, who has spent training camp mostly working with the second-string offense and is competing to carve out a role on offense behind top wideouts Drake London and Darnell Mooney. If Moore's injury indeed requires he spend substantial time sidelined, Ray-Ray McCloud will be left with almost no competition for the No. 3 wide receiver spot.

Mostly repping with backups Ray-Ray McCloud seems to have the "inside track" over Moore to be Atlanta's slot receiver, Marc Raimondi of ESPN reports.

Impact McCloud got a lot of first-team snaps throughout the offseason program and is now getting most of the slot work with Kirk Cousins and the starting offense during the first week of training camp. Moore, meanwhile, reportedly has been one of Michael Penix's favorite targets on the second-string offense, which suggests the 5-foot-7 receiver is at least making a case to earn more reps with the starters. There's still plenty of time for things to change, but it's not a great sign for Moore that he's currently behind a veteran journeyman like McCloud who is mostly known for returning punts and kicks.

Notches 34 total yards in Week 17 Moore caught three of four passes for 26 yards and had two carries for eight yards during Sunday's 35-31 win at Philadelphia.

Impact Moore hasn't been lacking for snaps this season, earning at least a 60 percent share in 14 of 16 games. But his output has been depressed, to say the least, as evidenced by just five outings with 40-plus yards from scrimmage. With Kyler Murray directing the offense since Week 10 and multiple Cardinals WRs dealing with injuries during that span, Moore hasn't made much of a mark in box scores, totaling 16 catches (on 24 targets), six carries, 216 total yards and one receiving TD in seven contests. Moore will seek a more appealing performance Sunday against a Seahawks defense that has conceded the eighth-most receptions (210) to opposing wide receivers in 16 games on the campaign.
