Signs future deal Adams signed a reserve/future contract with the Bears on Monday.

Impact Adams spent some time with the Bears' practice squad this year and has now earned himself a future deal in Chicago. After using his practice-squad time to further develop, the receiver will strive to suit up for his first NFL game in 2021.

Hits practice squad The Bears signed Adams to the practice squad Sunday, Jeff Dickerson reports.

Impact Adams was cut by the Bears on Saturday as the team trimmed down to its final roster. Sticking on the practice squad will give him an opportunity to keep growing in Chicago.

Heads to Windy City Adams signed a contract with the Bears on Thursday.

Impact Adams, who came out of retirement with the Colts earlier this offseason but was waived by the team earlier this month, will now get a chance to compete in Chicago. He has yet to make his NFL debut since joining the league as a fifth-round pick by the Vikings in 2017.

Impact Adams came out of retirement back in January and was subsequently reinstated by the Colts, but he wasn't able to stick with the team for training camp. He'll now be free to look for a depth role with another club after having spent nearly two years away from the league.
