Impact Stevenson saw an increased role in the offense throughout the game as Damien Harris battled both chest and rib injuries. Stevenson didn't do much with the opportunity, as his longest rush went for only nine yards. He also wasn't involved at all in the passing game, with Brandon Bolden instead logging four targets and four receptions. Though this wasn't a particularly impressive performance for Stevenson, it is worth noting that in addition to battling injuries, Harris also lost a fumble at the goal line Sunday. Both could contribute to an increased role for Stevenson in Week 6 against Dallas.

Impact Stevenson recorded just one carry for two yards and one catch for nine yards in the contest, while also losing a fumble. Meanwhile, top back Damien Harris logged 40 snaps and ran 23 times for 100 yards and caught two passes for 17 yards, with a fumble of his own. For his part, change-of-pace back James White (28 snaps) carried four times for 12 yards and hauled in six of his seven targets for 49 yards. For now, Stevenson's complementary role is evolving, and Reiss suggests that come Week 2, it's possible that J.J. Taylor, who was a healthy scratch Sunday, could sub in for Stevenson versus the Jets. In time, it's not hard to imagine Stevenson's early-down/short-yardage role in the offense increasing, but for now he's clearly behind Harris and White in the team's RB pecking order.
