Impact McCloud was only on the field for 21 percent of the team's offensive snaps Sunday as the Steelers continued to play their starters in the blowout win over Cincinnati. The 24-year-old was efficient on punt returns Week 10, but he hasn't been targeted more than three times in any game this year.

Impact McCloud was on the field for a season-high 28 offensive snaps against Dallas, and he racked up 16 receiving yards, his highest total of the season. Most of McCloud's usage has come on special teams this season as he maintains an insignificant spot within Pittsburgh's receiving corps.

Impact McCloud's 12 receiving yards Sunday matched his highest total of the season, but he once again saw a minimal role as he was on the field for just eight of a possible 79 offensive snaps. Even though the Steelers attempted 49 passes against Tennessee, McCloud's target share was low with all of the team's receivers fully healthy for most of the game. The 2018 sixth-round pick has mainly been used on special teams as his offensive potential remains capped.

Targeted once Sunday McCloud, who was on the field for 13 of a possible 65 snaps on offense, failed to haul in his lone target in Sunday's 38-7 win over the Browns.

Impact McCloud racked up a combined 75 yards in the Steelers' Week 5 win over the Eagles, but he wasn't a big part of the game plan against Browns. McCloud didn't have a prominent place on the team's depth chart to begin the year, and the 2018 sixth-round pick now has increased competition on that front with the recent emergence of Chase Claypool as a versatile option in Pittsburgh's offense.

Makes 53-man roster McCloud secured a spot on the Steelers' 53-man roster, Mark Madden of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Impact McCloud was let go by the Bills right before training camp and didn't sign on with the Steelers until Aug. 20, but he made the most of his limited reps and beat out Ryan Switzer and Deon Cain for the No. 5 WR role. The 2018 sixth-round pick hasn't played an offensive snap since 2019 when he caught five of six targets for 36 yards with the Bills, but he did return punts and kicks for the Panthers last season. He could contribute in a similar way with the Steelers, although his offensive upside remains capped.
