Catches five passes in loss Fant caught five of six targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Eagles.
Impact Fant played the most snaps at tight end as the Broncos' No. 1 option at the position, but it was his backup Albert Okwuegbunam who led the team in receiving Sunday. Overall, Fant has been a disappointment for fantasy managers hoping for a breakout year for the 23-year-old. Over the past two games, he has also seen his snap percentage drop to 78 percent after being 90 percent or above for the four weeks prior. This is likely a function of Okwuegbunam's increased involvement on offense. The Broncos get a bye in Week 11, but Fant will look to have a bounce-back performance Week 12 against the Chargers.

Activated from COVID list Fant has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Impact Fant, who was placed on the list Nov. 2 and missed this past Sunday's game against the Cowboys, is thus slated to practice Wednesday and is in line to return to the lineup this weekend against the Eagles. In eight games this season, Fant has logged 37 catches (on 53 targets) for 320 yards and three TDs, numbers that make him a viable weekly fantasy option at the tight end position.

Signature victory at Dallas keeps Broncos in playoff mix

The Denver Broncos are riding high after their biggest win since Super Bowl 50
NOVEMBER 8, 2021 • Associated Press
Nearing return to practice Coach Vic Fangio said Monday that Fant (illness) is close to clearing the league's COVID-19 protocols, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Fangio is optimistic that Fant will be able to rejoin the Broncos on Tuesday, but he has "one last hurdle" to clear before he's activated. The tight end has been on the reserve/COVID-19 list since Nov. 2 after testing positive for the virus, but it appears as though he has a good chance to return to the field Sunday against the Eagles.
NOVEMBER 8, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Not available Sunday Fant (illness) won't play in Sunday's game at Dallas, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Impact As predicted by coach Vic Vangio on Friday, Fant was unable to make his way through league protocols and be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list after testing positive for the virus Tuesday. He'll thus yield primary TE duties to Albert Okwuegbunam (knee), while Eric Saubert and Andrew Beck are on hand to step in at the position.
NOVEMBER 7, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Not expected to play Coach Vic Fangio believes Fant (illness) won't come off the reserve/COVID-19 list in time to suit up Sunday in Dallas, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Denver has one of the league's more intriguing backup tight ends in Albert Okwuegbunam, but he's questionable himself due to a knee injury, so Eric Saubert could be pushed into a featured role come Sunday. Considering Fant is vaccinated, there's a good chance he'll be able to return in time for the Broncos' Week 10 home game against the Eagles.

Not yet ruled out for Week 9 Fant (illness), who landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday following a positive test for the virus, could still have a chance to play Sunday in Dallas, George Stoia III of The...
Impact According to Stoia, Fant is vaccinated, which gives him a chance for a quicker return than an unvaccinated player, who would be forced to remain away from the team for at least 10 days following a positive test. Fant has continued to test positive since entering quarantine, so he'll still need to submit two negative test results at least 24 hours apart and display no symptoms of the virus before he's eligible to rejoin the Broncos. The team should have more clarity heading into Sunday whether Fant is available or not, but Albert Okwuegbunam would be the next man up to fill in as Denver's starting tight end, assuming Okwuegbunam can overcome the knee injury that limited him in practice to begin the week.

Tests positive for COVID-19 Fant's placement on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday was the result of a positive test for the virus, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Impact Thus, Fant will need to produce a pair of negative tests 24 hours apart in order to be eligible to play Sunday at Dallas. He has time to do just that, but the Broncos likely are preparing for him to be sidelined for at least one game. If Fant doesn't clear league protocols in time to suit up Week 9, the Broncos will be down to Albert Okwuegbunam, Eric Saubert and Andrew Beck at tight end.
NOVEMBER 2, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Lands on COVID-19 list The Broncos placed Fant (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Impact Fant has served as the Broncos' clear No. 1 tight end this season, recording 37 catches (on 53 targets) for 320 yards and three touchdowns in eight games. It's unclear if he tested positive for COVID-19 and whether or not he's vaccinated, which are the two things that'll determine when he's able to rejoin his teammates. If he takes a seat Sunday in Dallas, Fant will yield TE duties to Albert Okwuegbunam, Eric Saubert and Andrew Beck.

Catches two passes Fant secured two of four targets for eight yards in Sunday's 17-10 win over Washington.
Impact Fant's four targets were tied for a team-high, but the tight end had an overall tough day in the office. His eight yards were the lowest on the team Sunday, as the Broncos squeezed out a win in a low-scoring affair. Fellow tight end Albert Okwuegbunam made his return to the field and played on 49 percent of Denver's offensive snaps, compared to Fant's 77 percent share. With Okwuegbunam and wideout Jerry Jeudy finally back in the offense, Fant may have a difficult time consistently producing for fantasy. The 23-year-old will look to get back on track against in a Week 8 matchup against the Cowboys.

Five catches in defeat Fant brought in five of seven targets for 39 yards in the Broncos' 17-14 loss to the Browns on Thursday night.
Impact Fant drew even with Courtland Sutton for second in receptions on the night for Denver and also checked in as the runner-up, albeit a distant one, in receiving yards. The third-year tight end now has 14 receptions on 18 targets over the last two games, a level of volume he and fantasy managers will hope persists in Week 8 against Washington a week from Sunday.
