Not listed on injury report Trubisky (biceps) was not listed on the Titans' injury report Wednesday.

Impact Trubisky was dealing with a biceps injury over the last couple of weeks of training camp, but his absence from Wednesday's injury report indicates he'll suit up for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Jets. With Will Levis no longer on the roster, Trubisky will serve as Cam Ward's backup, with Hendon Hooker on the Titans' practice squad.

Absent with biceps issue Trubisky (biceps) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

Impact Trubisky exited Monday's practice due to the initial biceps issue, making Wednesday's absence a pattern. The backup quarterback's injury is not apparently a huge issue, and Trubisky is still day-to-day as he manages the tweak. If the Titans want to stay safe with their first line of defense if Cam Ward goes down, they will likely have Will Levis or Hendon Hooker play most of the snaps in Sunday's preseason showdown with the Seahawks.

Tweaks biceps in practice Trubisky was removed from Monday's training camp practice due to a biceps injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Impact Head coach Robert Saleh told reporters after Monday's practice that he was optimistic about Trubisky's biceps injury. The veteran quarterback can be considered day-to-day for now, but he'll undergo further tests to determine the extent of his injury. An extended absence for Trubisky would mean more second-team reps for Will Levis.

Able to practice Thursday Trusbisky (tightness) returned to practice Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Day to day with tightness Trubisky is considered day-to-day due to general tightness, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Impact The veteran backup quarterback felt the tightness during the initial conditioning test to begin training camp. With Trubisky down for a couple days, Will Levis should get most of the reps with the second-team offense. The two are competing for the top backup job behind Cam Ward this summer.

Impact Trubisky, who served as Josh Allen's top backup the last two seasons while with the Bills, is thus slated to handle that role in Tennessee behind 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. Also currently in the team's QB mix is Will Levis (shoulder), but the addition of Trubisky could foreshadow the 2023 second-rounder being moved.

Leads backups to victory in Week 18 Trubisky completed 22 of 29 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns during Sunday's 35-8 win over the Jets. He also rushed five times for five yards.

Impact Trubisky lined up under center after Josh Allen took the first snap of Week 18, keeping his streak of 135 consecutive starts intact. Upon taking over for Allen, Trubisky led Buffalo's offense effortlessly against an outmatched New York defense, turning in one of the best statistical performances of his nine-year NFL career. He'll revert to a backup role beginning with Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Jaguars, but the Bills can feel confident in Trubisky's ability to capably pilot this offense in the event that he's called upon to fill in for Allen for a stretch during the postseason. Trubisky concludes the regular season with four appearances, in which span completed a combined 25 of 35 pass attempts for 313 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing nine times for six yards.
