Limited Wednesday
Sanders was limited at Wednesday's practice with a glute injury.
Impact
After sitting out the Eagles' season opener due to a hamstring issue, Sanders has been a workhorse for the team, totaling 45 touches for 238 yards from scrimmage and one score over the last two games. Meanwhile, the reserve running back duo of Boston Scott and Corey Clement has combined for 13 touches during that stretch. With another injury in tow, Sanders nonetheless was able to get in some work Wednesday. He'll look to increase his activity level as the week continues.

Produces against Bengals
Sanders registered 95 rushing yards on 18 carries while catching four of his eight targets for 12 receiving yards during Sunday's 23-23 tie against Cincinnati.
Impact
Sanders has notched exactly 95 yards on the ground in each of his first two outings of the year, and he has 100-plus scrimmage yards in five of his past seven appearances dating back to Week 13 of last year. Given injuries to wide receivers DeSean Jackson (hamstring), Alshon Jeffery (foot) and Jalen Reagor (thumb), Sanders may also continue to build upon a strong workload of 15 targets across two appearances. Facing a 49ers front in Week 4 that is dealing with injuries to Nick Bosa (knee-ACL), Dee Ford (back) and Solomon Thomas (knee-ACL), Sanders remains a top-shelf option as a feature component in the Eagles offense.

Shines in season debut
Sanders rushed 20 times for 95 yards and a touchdown, adding three receptions for 36 yards in the Eagles' 37-19 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Impact
After missing Week 1, Sanders picked up where he left off last season and had a big game in his 2020 debut. The sophomore didn't seem limited by the hamstring injury that kept him out last week, as he piled up 131 yards while handling a hefty workload. Off to a solid start, Sanders will look to improve on the 1,327 scrimmage yards and six total touchdowns he produced as a rookie.

Starting in return to field
Sanders (hamstring) is active and starting Sunday's game against the Rams, Chris McPherson of the Eagles' official site reports.
Impact
After sitting out Week 1 due to a lingering hamstring injury, Sanders put in full practices in advance of this contest and declared himself 100 percent healthy Friday. It appears the aforementioned absence was precautionary, but it'll be interesting to see if he'll handle a similar workload to the second half of the 2019 season, when he received at least 70 percent of the offensive snaps in six of the final eight games (including playoffs). During that stretch, he totaled 763 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns. If Sanders yields work, Boston Scott and Corey Clement are the candidates to fill in out of the Eagles backfield.

Healthy for Week 2
Sanders said Friday that he's 100 percent healthy and hopeful to handle a full workload, Bo Wulf of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Playing time is up to the coaching staff, but it sounds like Sanders considers himself ready for a sizable role. After sitting out Week 1 with a hamstring injury, he's expected to get the start Sunday afternoon against the Rams. It remains to be seen how much Boston Scott and Corey Clement will mix in off the bench.
