Activated from PUP list
The Giants activated Peart from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Peart began the season on the reserve/PUP list while rehabbing from a torn ACL he suffered last December. Now that he's available, the 25-year-old offensive lineman figures to operate as the primary backup to Andrew Thomas.

Ready to practie
Peart (knee) was designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Thursday, Michael Eisen of the Giants' official site reported Wednesday.
Impact
Peart suffered a torn ACL in December, but he's ready to return to the practice field. He now has a 21-day window to prove he's ready to play and be placed on the 53-man roster. Once he joins the active roster, he'll provide depth at offensive tackle.

Lands on PUP list
Peart (knee) was placed on the active/PUP list Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Impact
Peart suffered a season-ending ACL tear in December, and his availability for Week 1 is still up in the air. Once healthy, Peart will compete for a job on the Giants' offensive line, although the recent addition of 2022 first-round selection Evan Neal will likely lead to a reserve role for Peart.

Still rehabbing ACL
Peart (knee) didn't participate in Thursday's voluntary OTAs, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Impact
Peart sustained a torn ACL at the end of December, so it's not surprising to see the soon-to-be 25-year-old still sidelined. The 2020 third-round pick's status during training camp in July should give a better indication as to whether or not he'll be available to start the regular season.

Back to injured reserve
The Giants activated Peart (knee) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Impact
Peart has already been ruled out for the season after tearing his left ACL, so his shift from the COVID list to IR is merely a formality.

Enters COVID protocols
Peart (knee) was shifted from IR to the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday as a result of testing positive for the virus, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Impact
Peart was placed on IR after suffering a torn ACL in a Week 16 loss to the Eagles. Peart's move to the COVID list will be a slight detour on a long road to recovery while he works toward a return in 2022.

Placed on injured reserve
Peart (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
Peart's placement on IR was expected after the 24-year-old sustained a torn ACL in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia. Nate Solder (undisclosed) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday and should serve as the Giants' starting right tackle.

Done for season
Peart tore his ACL in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia and is out for the season, Paul Schwartz of the New York Post reports.
Impact
Peart was ruled out of Sunday's game with a knee sprain, though the injury turned out to be worse than originally feared. With Peart's season over, Nate Solder (undisclosed) will be locked into the right tackle job once he's activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Out with knee sprain
Peart (knee) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against Philadelphia due to a left knee sprain, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Impact
The extent of the injury is uncertain, but it is serious enough to keep Peart from returning to the contest Sunday. Korey Cunningham figures to take over at right tackle, while Peart will try to recover in time for next week's game at Chicago.

Suffers knee sprain Sunday
Peart (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
Peart, who drew the start at right tackle in place of Nate Solder (COVID-19 protocols), suffered a right knee sprain in the first half. If he is unable to return, Korey Cunningham would likely be the next man up.

Passes physical, off PUP list
Peart (back) has passed his physical and was removed from the preseason PUP list, making him eligible to return to practice, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Impact
Peart spent just over a week rehabbing his back injury and is now set to return to practice. The 2020 third-round pick served primary as the swing offensive tackle for the Giants last year, but it appears he may be in line for some starts at right tackle with Cameron Fleming joining the Broncos.
