Healthy scratch Sunday Ingram (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Impact The veteran tailback played only one offensive snap last week against the Browns and now finds himself as a healthy scratch for this weekend's contest. Gus Edwards has established himself as Baltimore's secondary back behind J.K. Dobbins, and Justice Hill's work on special teams makes him a more valuable option for the depth role. Ingram may not see the field again this season if his fellow running backs remain healthy.

Phased out of game plan Ingram logged no touches while playing just one of the Ravens' 60 offensive snaps Monday in the team's 47-42 win over the Browns.
Impact Ingram's role within the Baltimore offense had already been declining steadily since he returned to action Week 10 following a two-game absence due to an ankle sprain, but Monday represented a new low for the 30-year-old. He played fewer snaps than any of the four running backs on the 53-man roster, as all of J.K. Dobbins (37), Gus Edwards (16) and Justice Hill (six) outpaced him. Hill's usage ahead of Ingram in particular is notable, as the second-year player had previously been limited almost exclusively to a special-teams role when Baltimore has been at full strength in the backfield. Given that head coach John Harbaugh seems comfortable proceeding with Dobbins and Edwards as the Ravens' primary options in the backfield, it wouldn't be surprising if Ingram was a healthy inactive for any of the team's final three regular-season contests.

Garners seven touches in return Ingram rushed six times for 28 yards and caught his lone target for a one-yard gain in Tuesday's 34-17 win over the Cowboys.
Impact Ingram was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, and he got the start against Dallas. He finished with just 11 snaps on offense, behind both J.K. Dobbins (21) and Gus Edwards (18). That likely will be the rotation moving forward with Dobbins taking on more responsibility in the Ravens offense. Ingram still will command his fair share of work, but he'll be a touchdown-dependent fantasy player moving forward.

Rejoins active roster Ingram was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday.
Impact The backfield-by-committee approach has completely capped Ingram's fantasy upside regardless of his health, but it'll be interesting to see how the Ravens deploy their veteran back considering the emergence of J.K. Dobbins, who was also activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday, and the continual production of Gus Edwards. For the moment, third-string quarterback Trace McSorley is projected to take the snaps under center, which might further limit the Ravens' offense, but Lamar Jackson could join a number of his other teammates to be activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list once he's eligible to return Sunday.

Reports to team faciity Ingram (illness) was cleared to return to the Ravens' facility Friday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Impact Ingram remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list and therefore hasn't resumed practicing with the team, but his presence at the facility suggests his return to the 53-man roster is imminent. Considering Ingram has been away with the team since testing positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 23, the Ravens may not be counting on him to handle a major role even if he gains clearance for Tuesday's game against the Cowboys. With J.K. Dobbins having beaten him back from the reserve/COVID-19 list and Gus Edwards also on hand, Ingram's fantasy upside will be capped by the Ravens' backfield committee even after his recovery from the coronavirus is further in the rear-view mirror.

Week 13 status to be determined Ingram (illness) and fellow running back J.K. Dobbins (illness) didn't play Wednesday as part of a "medical decision," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. "Are they physically rea...
Impact Ingram tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 23 and he theoretically could have played Wednesday, but Harbaugh's comments suggest that the lack of practice time made that infeasible. Ingram could be back for Tuesday's game against Dallas if he's able to log some practice time, however. Dobbins is in a similar situation, and if either he or Ingram is not yet at 100 percent for Tuesday, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill stand to take on most of the backfield work.

Steelers add C Pouncey to COVID-19 list against Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are scheduled to play on Wednesday afternoon even as COVID-19 continues to infect players up and down their respective rosters
DECEMBER 2, 2020 • Associated Press
Won't be available Wednesday Ingram (illness) won't be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Wednesday's game against the Steelers, Michele Tafoya of NBC Sports reports.
Impact Tafoya added that J.K. Dobbins (illness) won't be activated from the list either, with Kimberley A. Martin of ESPN relaying that neither running back flew with the team to Pittsburgh on Tuesday night. With both Ingram and Dobbins sidelined, Gus Edwards is in line to start Week 12, and he should take on the bulk of the carries while fourth-stringer Justice Hill works as the top change-of-pace option out of the backfield. Assuming Ingram doesn't experience any setbacks in his recovery from the coronavirus and is able to test negative for COVID-19 in the upcoming days, he should have a chance at returning to action in the Ravens' Week 13 matchup with the Cowboys on Dec. 8.

Impact The pair tested positive for COVID-19 early last week, but the new postponement pushing the contest from Tuesday to Wednesday opens the window for them to be available. While that doesn't mean it's guaranteed Dobbins or Ingram will be cleared to play, it's a glimmer of hope for Baltimore. which already is without a plethora of players, including quarterback Lamar Jackson (illness).
