First 100-yard game in two years Andrews caught five of seven targets for 109 yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over Detroit.
Impact In addition to holding sole possession of the team lead in both catches and receiving yards, Andrews tied for the team lead in targets with Sammy Watkins and Marquise Brown. The tight end eclipsed his total of 77 yards from the first two games combined while topping 100 receiving yards for the first time since Week 2 of the 2019 season. After finding the end zone 17 times over the previous two seasons, Andrews is still in search of his first touchdown of 2021 heading into a Week 4 trip to Denver.

Five catches in win Andrews caught all five targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 36-35 win over the Chiefs.
Impact Andrews' performance was an improvement over his three-catch outing in Week 1, but he has still yet to score a touchdown after scoring 17 over the last two seasons. It seems like Lamar Jackson is looking to go downfield more, which has resulted in more targets for Marquise Brown and the newly-acquired Sammy Watkins. Andrews will look to get his first taste of the end zone against the Lions on Sunday.

Just three grabs Andrews caught three of five targets for 20 yards in Monday night's 33-27 overtime loss to the Raiders.
Impact Andrews struggled to make an impact to open the season, but even so only Sammy Watkins (eight) and Marquise Brown (six) saw more targets than him on the Ravens. After recently cashing in with a long-term extension, Andrews will hope to put forth an improved showing in Week 2 versus Kansas City, even though he's never topped 25 receiving yards in three games against the AFC West powerhouse so far in his career.

Inks $56 million extension Andrews agreed to a four-year, $56 million contract extension with the Ravens on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact The 2018 third-round pick was entering the final year of his rookie deal with Baltimore, but he's now been locked up for the foreseeable future. Andrews has caught 156 passes for 2,105 yards and 20 touchdowns across his first three seasons, and he should continue to be a key cog in the Ravens offense and a favorite target of quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Healthy this week Andrews is practicing Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Impact The tight end dealt with severe cramping last Friday and didn't end up playing in Saturday's preseason game against Carolina, though the two weren't necessarily related given that the Ravens rested some other starters. In any case, Andrews is back at practice this week without any limitations, serving as Lamar Jackson's top target while the team's starting wideouts continue to miss practice with various injuries. The Ravens seemingly expect Marquise Brown (hamstring) and Sammy Watkins (undisclosed) to be ready for Week 1 at Las Vegas, while rookie first-round pick Rashod Bateman (core muscle) figures to miss at least a game or two.

Sits out Saturday's game Andrews (undisclosed) didn't play in Saturday's preseason game against the Panthers, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
Impact The same applies to starting quarterback Lamar Jackson, as well as Baltimore's top wide receivers. In the case of Andrews, the tight end had a severe bout of cramping at Thursday's practice, so it's no surprise he was held out of action Saturday. It remains to be seen if Andrews suits up for the team's preseason finale, but either way the 25-year-old approaches the 2021 regular season entrenched as the team's No. 1 tight end.
