Records first sack of season
Collins totaled eight tackles (five solo) and one sack during Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Broncos.
Impact
Collins has recorded at least six tackles in seven straight games. His consistent production offers fantasy managers a high-floor option, but his lack of turnovers and sacks has limited his potential this season. The 27-year-old safety notched his first sack of the 2021 campaign Sunday and will look to build off that performance when Washington returns to action -- after its Week 9 bye -- against the Buccaneers.

Recovers fumble in loss
Collins had seven tackles (solo) and one fumble recovery during Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Packers.
Impact
Collins led the defense in tackles despite the modest output, and he now has at least six tackles in each of the past six contests. The 27-year-old has 46 tackles (29 solo) and one fumble recovery through seven contests but is without an interception, a sack or forced fumble.

Another eight tackle performance
Collins made eight tackles (five solo) during Sunday's 34-30 win over the Falcons.
Impact
Collins has now posted back-to-back eight-tackle outings and three straight contests with at least seven tackles. After playing just seven games last year, the 27-year-old is starting to look like the player who totaled 117 tackles across 15 games for Washington in 2019.

Eight tackles in loss
Collins posted eight tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 43-21 loss to the Bills.
Impact
Collins has now generated 18 tackles through three games. He averaged 7.8 tackles per game in 2019, so he's not far from his pre-Achilles tear numbers. Given his upside, there's no reason for fantasy managers to worry too much for the time being.

Records two tackles in loss
Collins played 65 snaps and recorded two tackles during Sunday's loss to the Chargers.
Impact
Collins suffered an Achilles tear in Week 7 of the 2020 campaign and made an incredible recovery to be ready for Week 1. There may be some limitations for the 27-year-old as he played only 80 percent of Washington's defensive snaps, while fellow safety Bobby McCain played 85 percent of the snaps.
