Paces team in receiving
Rudolph caught both of his targets for 66 yards Sunday against the Chargers.
Impact
His 60-yard catch, during which he carried several Chargers on his back for extra yards a la Mark Bavaro, set up the team's first touchdown. Still, he's only a bit player in this low-end passing game.

Draws four targets in loss
Rudolph recorded two receptions for 18 yards on four targets Sunday in the Giants' 20-9 loss to the Dolphins.
Impact
With two of their top receivers in Kadarius Toney (quadriceps/oblique) and Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) sitting out and with Kenny Golladay (ribs) checking out of the game for a spell, the Giants made frequent use of two-tight end sets Week 13, allowing Rudolph to see a fair amount of work behind the No. 1 option at the position, Evan Engram. Rudolph fell just one target shy of matching a season high, but his production was still rather hollow. He'll need to score a touchdown in most weeks to provide value, and since he's reached the end zone just once in his 11 appearances, he can't be counted on to do that with any regularity.

Suiting up for Week 13
Rudolph (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
Rudolph was questionable after logging limited practices Thursday and Friday. However, he'll return after a one-game absence to serve as the Giants' second tight end. Even so, Rudolph could see quite a bit of time on the field with Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) and Kadarius Toney (quadriceps) inactive.

Questionable for Sunday
Rudolph (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Dolphins, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Impact
Rudolph was able to log back-to-back limited practices Thursday and Friday, which gives him a chance to return from a one-game absence Sunday. However, if he is inactive, then Chris Myarick could be in line for another turn as the No. 2 option at tight end behind Evan Engram, as Kaden Smith (knee) has already been ruled out.

Upgrades to limited practice
Rudolph (ankle) practiced in limited fashion Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
This is a step in the right direction for Rudolph, who missed Wednesday's practice after sitting out last week's win over Philadelphia due to this injury. He'll likely be listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Miami on Friday's injury report barring an unexpected improvement or setback.

Does not practice Wednesday
Rudolph (ankle) missed practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
Rudolph sat out the Giants' Week 12 win over the Eagles with the same injury, so missing any practice time leading up to Week 13 is worth monitoring. With fellow tight end Kaden Smith (knee) also dealing with an injury, Chris Myarick could be looking at a significant boost in opportunity Sunday.

Inactive Sunday
Rudolph (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
During the Giants' Week 11 loss in Tampa Bay, Rudolph hauled in his only target for a 28-yard gain down the right sideline, but he also injured his ankle on the play and didn't return. He proceeded to be listed as a non-participant Wednesday through Friday and entered this weekend as doubtful to suit up. Rudolph will join Kaden Smith (knee) in street clothes Sunday, meaning Evan Engram and, to a lesser extent, Chris Myarick will handle tight end duties for New York in Week 12.

On track to sit out Sunday
Rudolph (ankle), who is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Eagles, won't play in the contest, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Impact
The Giants will officially rule Rudolph out when he's included on the team's Week 12 inactive list, which will be released 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. Duggan posits that the absences of Rudolph and Kaden Smith may prompt the Giants to use an offensive lineman as a "jumbo" tight end on downs where pass-catching specialist Evan Engram checks out of the contest.

Doubtful for Sunday
Rudolph (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact
Rudolph has been unable to get on the practice field this week and therefore is unlikely to play in Week 12. With Kaden Smith (knee) already ruled out, Chris Myarick may be looking at a season-high snap count behind Evan Engram against the Eagles.

No activity Wednesday
Rudolph (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's injury report, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Impact
Rudolph hauled in a 28-yard pass down the left sideline in the second half of Monday's eventual loss at Tampa Bay, but he picked up an ankle injury on the play and was unable to return. With Kaden Smith (knee) joining Rudolph on the sideline Wednesday, the Giants currently have just one healthy tight end (Evan Engram) on the active roster. How Rudolph and Smith proceed on the field this week will determine the breakdown of TE usage for New York, but practice squad member Chris Myarick could be in line for No. 2 duties Sunday versus the Eagles.
