Signs to active roster Crawley was signed to the Saints' active roster Tuesday.

Impact Crawley has been with the Saints since coming into the league in 2016, with a small detour in Miami. His season has been riddled with issues between starting the season on IR with a hamstring issue, then spending time on the COVID-19 list. Crawley was finally activated from IR on Nov. 14 and played three special-teams snaps in Week 10. He'll now look at add depth to the Saints' secondary as soon as Thursday against the Bills.

Impact Crawley has yet to play this season after injuring his hamstring in a preseason game. He was expected to start opposite Marshon Lattimore going into the season, but he'll likely return to a reserve role for now.

Impact Crawley was placed on the Saints' reserve/COVID-19 list a couple of weeks ago after testing positive for COVID-19. The cornerback is still on the Saints' injured reserve list for his hamstring injury, but he is expected to get activated to New Orleans' active roster at some point in the foreseeable future.
