Chance to play in Week 10 Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Monday that Mitchell (knee) has a chance to play in Thursday night's matchup against the Bengals, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Impact Mitchell practiced in full all week but wasn't able to suit up for Sunday's blowout win over the Broncos. He was designated to return from the Ravens' reserve/PUP list Oct. 23, and Harbaugh's comments Monday suggest he could make his 2024 debut in Week 10. If Mitchell is activated in time for Thursday night's contest, he'll likely serve as the team's No. 3 running back behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill.

The Ravens have a quick turnaround after Sunday's contest with a Thursday Night Football matchup against Cincinnati on Nov. 7, and it remains to be seen if Mitchell has a chance of making his season debut in that game.

Impact Mitchell, who is working his way back from a left ACL tear suffered last December, will unsurprisingly have to begin training camp on the PUP list. Derrick Henry will work as Baltimore's clear No. 1 backfield option, but given that he's now reached the age-30 mark, the team could want to keep him from a league-leading workload, such as he's carried in the past. That could open up opportunities for Mitchell, once healthy, but to begin the regular season it will likely be Justice Hill and rookie fifth-rounder Rasheen Ali (biceps) complementing Henry.
