Jackson accounts for 3 TDs, John Harbaugh moves to 3-0 vs. brother as Ravens beat Chargers 30-23

Lamar Jackson threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score, Derrick Henry rushed for 140 yards, and Baltimore coach John Harbaugh improved to 3-0 against his brother as the Raven...

Cleared to suit up in Week 12 Hill (concussion protocol) doesn't have an injury designation heading into Monday's clash against the Chargers, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.
Impact Hill began the week with a limited practice while in concussion protocol but was able to log a full practice Friday. He was then estimated as a full participant again in Saturday's walkthrough. As such, Hill will be able to suit up against the Chargers, and he'll likely continue to work as Baltimore's top kickoff returner as well as its change-of-pace back behind Derrick Henry.
NOVEMBER 23, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Logs full practice Hill (concussion protocol) practiced fully Friday.
Impact Per the Ravens' injury report, Hill is still listed in the NFL's concussion protocol, but the running back's ability to work fully Friday bodes well for his chances of being cleared for Monday night's game against the Chargers. If, however, Hill has any setbacks and is unable to completely progress through the protocol, Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali would be candidates to see added snaps behind top back Derrick Henry in Week 12.
NOVEMBER 22, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
In concussion protocol Hill (concussion protocol) was limited at practice Thursday.
Impact Per Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com, Hill sported a non-contact pinny and a Guardian Cap while participating in Wednesday's session. The running back now has two more opportunities to practice fully as Monday night's game against the Chargers approaches, but if he's unable to completely progress through concussion protocol, Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali would be in line to see added change-of-pace work versus Los Angeles behind lead back Derrick Henry.

Acrobatic pick offered proof that Steelers rookie LB Payton Wilson's learning curve is speeding up

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie linebacker Payton Wilson made the biggest play of his career so far in a 18-16 win over Baltimore
NOVEMBER 19, 2024 • Associated Press
Gets more involved Sunday Hill caught four of seven targets for 28 yards and added two carries for 13 yards Sunday against the Steelers.
Impact This was the most involved Hill has been in the game plan in some time as he drew seven targets and played the same number of snaps (30) as Derrick Henry. The seven targets were one behind his season-high of eight in the season-opening loss against the Chiefs. Henry struggled to get much going on the ground other than his 31-yard run and Pittsburgh's lively pass rush opened the door for Hill to get some work in the short passing game. Hill nearly came down with a massive catch up the sideline but it was ripped away and intercepted by rookie linebacker, Payton Wilson. Hill's lack of effectiveness despite the increased opportunities was a disappointing result for him, though he should remain the No.2 option behind Henry given that the team does not appear ready to give Keaton Mitchell significant snaps yet.

Two carries Thursday Hill, who logged 22 of a possible 63 snaps on offense in Thursday's 35-34 win over the Bengals, carried twice for minus-two yards and caught both of his targets for zero yards in t...
Impact Meanwhile, lead back Derrick Henry recorded 39 snaps and 16 carries, while Keaton Mitchell was on the field for just two snaps on offense in his return to action from a lengthy layoff Thursday. While working in a change-of-pace role, Hill has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option this season, and with Mitchell back in the mix, Hill's best chance to make a mark going forward will occur in games where Baltimore's running backs are called upon to be more active in the passing game.

Three grabs in Sunday's rout Hill carried the ball five times for 15 yards and caught all three of his targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 41-10 win over the Broncos.
Impact The 58 scrimmage yards were Hill's largest total since Week 4, when he posted a 6-78-1 line on six targets against the Bills. It was a good time for Hill to produce decent numbers, as Keaton Mitchell (knee) is getting close to making his season debut and could push for the No. 2 job in the Ravens' backfield. Neither RB is likely to see a big workload as long as Derrick Henry is healthy, however.

Little usage Sunday Hill had two carries for five yards and added a 14-yard reception Sunday against the Browns.
Impact Hill played one of his higher snap shares of the season but didn't make much of an impact in the box score with three total touches for 19 yards. The common theme of Hill's useful fantasy games this season has been target volume. In the five games in which Hill had fewer than three targets, he has averaged 4.08 PPR points. Additionally, it's difficult to predict the game scripts where the running backs will be active in the passing game. Baltimore hosts a tough Denver defense in Week 9.

Finds end zone in win Hill rushed five times for four yards while catching all three of his targets for 44 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers.
Impact Hill scored his second receiving touchdown of the year Monday, while finding little success on the ground. Meanwhile, fellow running back Derrick Henry continued to dominate as a rusher. Despite seeing his role shrink as the season has progressed, the 26-year-old Hill retains a bit of stand-alone value as the No. 2 running back on a good offense. However, barring an injury to Henry, Hill remains difficult to count on for consistent weekly production. The veteran is difficult to trust for fantasy purposes when the Ravens visit the Browns in Week 8.

Lamar Jackson throws 5 TDs to lead streaking Ravens to 41-31 win vs. Buccaneers
Role continues to shrink Hill had one carry for two yards and reeled in a two-yard reception on his lone target Sunday against the Commanders.
Impact Hill's involvement was limited Sunday as he played just 38 percent of the snaps and was not a big part of the scheme with just two total opportunities. Early in the season, Hill was at least reliably drawing targets even if he wasn't seeing many carries. That appears to have dried up as he has just two catches for 10 yards over the last two games. Baltimore heads to Tampa Bay in Week 7.
OCTOBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Takes backseat Sunday Hill had five carries for 17 yards and added one catch for eight yards in Sunday's win over the Bengals.
Impact The veteran's usage in the passing game backslid Sunday as Baltimore needed to target deeper parts of the field to mount its second-half comeback. Hill has two games with a high target volume -- eight in Week 1, six in Week 4 -- but has otherwise gotten two targets per game on average. Baltimore hosts Washington in what projects to be a high-scoring game in Week 6 and Hill's usage could tick up as a result. Still, Hill is really only on the fantasy radar in deeper PPR leagues.

Derrick Henry is rolling and the Ravens' running identity is back in a big way

Getting the ball to Derrick Henry early and often has the Baltimore Ravens back to
SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 • Associated Press
Leading receiver on SNF Hill rushed four times for 18 yards and caught all six of his targets for 78 yards and a receiving touchdown in Sunday's 35-10 win over the Bills.
Impact Hill finished as the Ravens' leading receiver on a night dominated by Baltimore's rushers. The electric backup continued to generate hype with his biggest output of the season. Most of Hill's damage was done running routes Sunday, most notably on a 19-yard touchdown grab in the second half where he shook his assignment before hitting the open field for his first touchdown of the campaign. Starter Derrick Henry stole the show with a 24-199-1 rushing line, but Hill still provided FLEX value with 96 yards and a score on just 10 touches. Even if there isn't room in your starting lineup, it wouldn't be a bad idea to stash Hill on the bench if he is still out there ahead of Week 5's tilt against Cincinnati.

Henry runs for 199 yards and Jackson has 3 TDs as Ravens rout previously unbeaten Bills 35-10

Derrick Henry ran for 199 yards, Lamar Jackson accounted for three touchdowns and the Baltimore Ravens beat the Buffalo Bills 35-10
SEPTEMBER 30, 2024 • Associated Press
Efficient in win Hill had five carries for 33 yards and added a pair of receptions for 21 yards on two targets Sunday against the Cowboys.
Impact It was a season-low in snap share for Hill but he was still effective when called upon by averaging 6.6 yards per carry and 10.5 yards per target. Hill's diminished playing time likely had to do with Baltimore's run-heavy approach that leaned on Derrick Henry. Hill is still Baltimore's best pass-catching back but his week-to-week projection is volatile. He had eight targets in the first game and has four total targets over the last two games. It will be worth monitoring whether Baltimore sticks with such a run-first approach Sunday against Buffalo.

Ravens sign running back Justice Hill to a 2-year, $6 million extension

The Baltimore Ravens have signed running back Justice Hill to a two-year extension
SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 • Associated Press
Lands two-year extension The Ravens signed Hill to a two-year, $6 million contract extension Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact A fourth-round pick by Baltimore in 2019, Hill missed all of 2021 with a torn Achilles' tendon but finally got an extended chance to play last season for the Ravens after J.K. Dobbins suffered the same injury in Week 1. Hill set career-highs across the board with his 84-387-3 rushing line last season, adding 28-206-1 as a receiver. He's taken hold of the pass-catching and two-minute roles in Baltimore's offense behind early-down workhorse Derrick Henry. Through two games, Hill has eight catches for 62 yards and has rushed five times for 25 yards while playing 54 percent of the offensive snaps.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Seeing plenty of playing time Hill had four carries for 22 yards and caught both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.
Impact Once again, Hill out-snapped Derrick Henry by a count of 35 to 30 in a loss. Hill wasn't as involved in the passing game this time around, though, as his target count dropped from eight to two. Baltimore is still finding its identity on offense with a rebuilt offensive line and the addition of Henry to the mix, but Hill seems to be in line for a healthy snap share for the time being thanks to his complimentary skill set to that of Henry's. The Ravens host the Cowboys in a Week 3 game that is teetering on being a must-win for Baltimore.

NFL Fans Applaud Justice Hill for Heroic Effort vs. Chris Jones on Ravens' Last Play The Ravens running back was handed a near-impossible task in crunch time.
SEPTEMBER 7, 2024 • STAR-TELEGRAM.COM
Active in passing game Thursday Hill had one carry for three yards and added six receptions for 52 yards on eight targets in Thursday's loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Fantasy managers were surprised to see Hill actually out-snap Derrick Henry 43 to 37. The Ravens were in a catch-up script for much of the game, however, and Hill's pass-catching chops and blitz pickup ability get him on the field in those scenarios. Henry will take on a larger share of the offense going forward but Hill is positioned to be the passing-down back at least until Keaton Mitchell (knee) returns. With that, Hill may have some appeal for the time being in deeper leagues with full PPR scoring.
