Impact Hill played one of his higher snap shares of the season but didn't make much of an impact in the box score with three total touches for 19 yards. The common theme of Hill's useful fantasy games this season has been target volume. In the five games in which Hill had fewer than three targets, he has averaged 4.08 PPR points. Additionally, it's difficult to predict the game scripts where the running backs will be active in the passing game. Baltimore hosts a tough Denver defense in Week 9.

Impact Hill scored his second receiving touchdown of the year Monday, while finding little success on the ground. Meanwhile, fellow running back Derrick Henry continued to dominate as a rusher. Despite seeing his role shrink as the season has progressed, the 26-year-old Hill retains a bit of stand-alone value as the No. 2 running back on a good offense. However, barring an injury to Henry, Hill remains difficult to count on for consistent weekly production. The veteran is difficult to trust for fantasy purposes when the Ravens visit the Browns in Week 8.

Impact Hill's involvement was limited Sunday as he played just 38 percent of the snaps and was not a big part of the scheme with just two total opportunities. Early in the season, Hill was at least reliably drawing targets even if he wasn't seeing many carries. That appears to have dried up as he has just two catches for 10 yards over the last two games. Baltimore heads to Tampa Bay in Week 7.

Impact The veteran's usage in the passing game backslid Sunday as Baltimore needed to target deeper parts of the field to mount its second-half comeback. Hill has two games with a high target volume -- eight in Week 1, six in Week 4 -- but has otherwise gotten two targets per game on average. Baltimore hosts Washington in what projects to be a high-scoring game in Week 6 and Hill's usage could tick up as a result. Still, Hill is really only on the fantasy radar in deeper PPR leagues.

Impact Hill finished as the Ravens' leading receiver on a night dominated by Baltimore's rushers. The electric backup continued to generate hype with his biggest output of the season. Most of Hill's damage was done running routes Sunday, most notably on a 19-yard touchdown grab in the second half where he shook his assignment before hitting the open field for his first touchdown of the campaign. Starter Derrick Henry stole the show with a 24-199-1 rushing line, but Hill still provided FLEX value with 96 yards and a score on just 10 touches. Even if there isn't room in your starting lineup, it wouldn't be a bad idea to stash Hill on the bench if he is still out there ahead of Week 5's tilt against Cincinnati.

Impact It was a season-low in snap share for Hill but he was still effective when called upon by averaging 6.6 yards per carry and 10.5 yards per target. Hill's diminished playing time likely had to do with Baltimore's run-heavy approach that leaned on Derrick Henry. Hill is still Baltimore's best pass-catching back but his week-to-week projection is volatile. He had eight targets in the first game and has four total targets over the last two games. It will be worth monitoring whether Baltimore sticks with such a run-first approach Sunday against Buffalo.

Lands two-year extension The Ravens signed Hill to a two-year, $6 million contract extension Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Impact A fourth-round pick by Baltimore in 2019, Hill missed all of 2021 with a torn Achilles' tendon but finally got an extended chance to play last season for the Ravens after J.K. Dobbins suffered the same injury in Week 1. Hill set career-highs across the board with his 84-387-3 rushing line last season, adding 28-206-1 as a receiver. He's taken hold of the pass-catching and two-minute roles in Baltimore's offense behind early-down workhorse Derrick Henry. Through two games, Hill has eight catches for 62 yards and has rushed five times for 25 yards while playing 54 percent of the offensive snaps.

Impact Once again, Hill out-snapped Derrick Henry by a count of 35 to 30 in a loss. Hill wasn't as involved in the passing game this time around, though, as his target count dropped from eight to two. Baltimore is still finding its identity on offense with a rebuilt offensive line and the addition of Henry to the mix, but Hill seems to be in line for a healthy snap share for the time being thanks to his complimentary skill set to that of Henry's. The Ravens host the Cowboys in a Week 3 game that is teetering on being a must-win for Baltimore.

Impact Fantasy managers were surprised to see Hill actually out-snap Derrick Henry 43 to 37. The Ravens were in a catch-up script for much of the game, however, and Hill's pass-catching chops and blitz pickup ability get him on the field in those scenarios. Henry will take on a larger share of the offense going forward but Hill is positioned to be the passing-down back at least until Keaton Mitchell (knee) returns. With that, Hill may have some appeal for the time being in deeper leagues with full PPR scoring.

Impact Hill led the Ravens' backfield while matching his highest carry total of the season and recording his highest yardage total of the campaign. He was particularly effective running out the clock late in the game, as he accounted for 42 yards in the final quarter. Hill also remained involved as a pass catcher and has commanded multiple targets in five of his last six contests. He should split work with Gus Edwards once again in the AFC Championship Game while squaring off with either the Chiefs or Bills.

Impact Hill did not factor into the carry rotation Saturday but did lead the team in targets in what was an anomalous game for the Ravens with Tyler Huntley at quarterback. In Weeks 16 and 17, Hill commanded a 22 percent rushing share in the wake of Keaton Mitchell's season-ending injury. Hill has been active in the passing game throughout the season and that should continue when the Ravens return to action in the Divisional Round but his rushing usage has been sporadic all year as well. Gus Edwards projects to be first in line for carries during the postseason but Hill can still be a fantasy factor with a small rushing workload to go with passing game functions.
