Justice Hill - NFL News, Rumors, & Updates

Three touches in Week 4 win Hill rushed one time for three yards in Sunday's 24-18 win over the Titans. He added two catches for 22 yards on three targets.

Impact Hill continues to handle change-of-pace and passing-down work behind Derrick Henry out of the Baltimore backfield. Across four games, Hill has accumulated 60 rushing yards on 14 carries and five catches for 44 yards on six targets. Hill's role would likely only expand in the event the Ravens are chasing points on the scoreboard or if Henry suffers an injury.

Two carries and two targets in loss Hill rushed twice for six yards and caught two targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.

Impact Hill was on the field for 27 of the Ravens' 58 offensive snaps. The running back saw usage in both the run and pass offenses, providing a fast contrast to Derrick Henry's bulk. It appears the new Ravens offense wants to utilize Hill at a higher rate, potentially to rest the 32-year-old Henry more frequently.

Sees seven touches in Week 1 victory Hill turned six carries into 18 yards and added a 10-yard catch during the Ravens' 41-23 win over the Colts on Sunday.

Impact Hill saw an uptick in usage in the fourth quarter with the Ravens firmly in control of the game. He played 31 of 68 offensive snaps, which wasn't that far behind bell cow Derrick Henry's 37 snaps, though Hill is firmly entrenched as the Ravens' RB2, with Rasheen Ali being the distant third option. Hill will continue to serve as the change-of-pace back for the Ravens heading into Week 2 against the Saints on Sept. 20.

Backing up Henry in 2026 Hill is in line to be the No.2 running back on the Ravens' depth chart.

Impact The veteran is in the final year of his contract after an injury-shortened 2025 that limited him to 10 games. Hill is also playing under a new coaching staff and an offensive coordinator, so it will be interesting to see whether his role evolves or other options emerge as Derrick Henry's backup. Hill has been healthy for the preseason and hasn't appeared in either preseason game, which is a good signal for his standing on the depth chart.

Taking part in OTAs Hill (neck) is participating in OTAs this week.

Impact Hill sustained a neck injury in practice leading up to Week 13 last season and spent the remainder of the 2025 campaign on injured reserve. He was inching closer to a return toward the end of last season, so it's fair to assume he's back to 100 percent. Hill is expected to once again serve as the pass-catching specialist out of the backfield behind Derrick Henry in 2026.

Impact Hill held off Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali for the top change-of-pace role behind Derrick Henry while healthy but didn't play after Week 12 due to a neck injury. Henry, Hill and Ali are all under contract for 2026 and Mitchell is set to be a restricted free agent who could be retained with a qualifying offer. Baltimore will be bringing in a new coaching staff, but Hill's role seems unlikely to change much, assuming he makes a full recovery.

Coach optimistic for return in 2025 Head coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Hill (neck) coming back in Week 17 against the Packers or Week 18 against the Steelers is a "real possibility."

Impact Hill will miss a fourth consecutive game while on injured reserve Sunday against the Patriots, but the change-of-pace running back could be back before the conclusion of the regular season. Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali have mixed in behind Derrick Henry during Hill's absence.

Could return late in season Coach John Harbaugh said Hill (neck) will be sidelined three-to-four weeks, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Impact Hill was apparently injured in practice last week and was placed on injured reserve ahead of last Thursday night's game against the Bengals. Hill will miss at least three more contests while on IR, but it sounds like he'll have a chance to return when eligible in Week 17. Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali will continue to handle backup duties behind Derrick Henry for the next few weeks.

DECEMBER 1, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Placed on IR The Ravens placed Hill (neck) on injured reserve Thursday.

Impact Hill will be forced to miss at least Baltimore's next four games due to a neck injury he appears to have sustained during practice. He wasn't listed on Monday's injury report, but then appeared as a non-participant Tuesday and Wednesday. Beginning Thursday versus the Bengals, and until at least Dec. 27 versus the Packers in Week 17, both Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali will be in position to handle increased complementary roles behind Derrick Henry.

Ruled out to face Bengals Hill (neck) is ruled out for Thursday's contest against Cincinnati.

Impact Hill was not listed on Monday's injury report, but he's since missed back-to-back practices due to a neck issue and will be forced to remain sidelined Week 13. In his stead, Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali will stand to handle increased backfield roles bend Derrick Henry on Thanksgiving Day, a divisional matchup that could make for a high-scoring affair with quarterback Joe Burrow (toe) expected to return to the starting lineup for the Bengals.

Added to injury report Hill (neck) did not practice Tuesday.

Impact Hill wasn't included on Monday's report, so he apparently suffered the injury during practice. It's unclear if the injury will threaten his status for Thursday's matchup against the Bengals, though he'll likely need to return to practice in at least some capacity Wednesday.

NOVEMBER 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

No opportunities in return Hill did not record a carry or target in Sunday's win over the Jets. He played 16 snaps.

Impact Hill was back in action after missing Week 11 with a toe injury. However, he was not involved in the game plan as he played 25 percent of the snaps and did not record a touch. Hill has not played more than 19 snaps in any of his four games since the bye, nor has he gotten more than one carry in any of those outings. Fellow running back Keaton Mitchell is still not out-snapping Hill, but he tends to get the ball when he's on the field. Hill and the Ravens return to action Thanksgiving night against the Bengals.

NOVEMBER 24, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Ready for return Hill (toe) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Impact With Hill back in action, Keaton Mitchell doesn't figure to get much playing time in passing situations this Sunday against the Jets. Both should have roles off the bench behind lead back Derrick Henry.

NOVEMBER 19, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Present at practice Wednesday Hill (toe) is participating in the early portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.

Impact Hill managed to log one limited practice session before being ruled out for Baltimore's win over the Browns in Week 11, so his odds of gaining clearance in time for Sunday's matchup against the Jets seem fair. Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali will be in line to handle increased roles behind Derrick Henry once again in the event that Hill remains sidelined versus New York.
