Impact While Demovsky noted Deguara has been medically cleared from the torn ACL he suffered last Oct. 5 against the Falcons, he likely will be eased into practice considering he's only 10 months removed from the injury. Robert Tonyan is the clear-cut receiving tight end in Green Bay, and Marcedes Lewis handles key blocking duties. As a result, Deguara, a 2020 third-round pick, may be fighting for not much more than a peripheral role in the Packers offense.

However, Deguara does not project as a traditional tight end, as he is expected to display his versatitlity in the backfield, on the line and even in the slot. Impact Deguara tore his ACL in Week 4 against the Falcons, and he'll predictably be shut down for the season. The rookie third-rounder caught one pass for 12 yards this year. The Packers have Robert Tonyan, Jace Sternberger and Marcedes Lewis (knee) available to handle reps at tight end moving forward, and Deguara should have enough time to make a full recovery for the 2021 season.
