INJURIES

Officially questionable for Week 6 Mingo (knee) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Clarence Hill Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.
Impact Mingo ended the week with back-to-back DNPs after practicing in a full capacity Wednesday. Given his lack of practice to end the week, it appears the third-year wideout is on the doubtful side of playing against the team that selected him in the 2023 NFL Draft. If Mingo is in fact ruled out for Sunday's game, his next opportunity to make his 2025 regular-season debut will be Week 7 against the Commanders on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Sits out practice Thursday Mingo (knee) didn't practice Thursday.
Impact After having his 21-day evaluation window opened Oct. 1, Mingo turned in a trio of limited practices last week, then upgraded to full participation Wednesday. He's regressed to no activity just one day later, though it's unclear if Mingo's absence Thursday was the result of a setback in his recovery from a PCL sprain in his right knee or simply a pre-planned maintenance day. Whatever the case, Mingo will likely need to get back on the practice field in some capacity Friday in order for the Cowboys to consider activating him from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game at Carolina.
OCTOBER 9, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Upgrades to full practice Mingo (knee), who remains on IR, was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Impact Mingo had his 21-day practice window opened last Wednesday and logged a trio of limited practices before being ruled out for Week 5, but he's now practicing without restrictions. That seemingly sets the stage for Mingo to be activated from IR ahead of Sunday's road game against the Panthers and make his regular-season debut. With CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot) both candidates to miss Week 6, Mingo's return would provide the Cowboys with needed depth at the wide receiver position.
OCTOBER 8, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Not ready to return The Cowboys are not in line to activate Mingo (knee) from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Impact Mingo was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, but after a week of limited practices, the wideout's return to action remains on hold. With CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot) both sidelined this week, the Cowboys will elevate Jalen Brooks and Jalen Cropper from their practice squad.
OCTOBER 4, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Officially questionable for Sunday Mingo (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Mingo was limited at practice all week after being activated from the Cowboys' injured reserve list Wednesday, and his availability in Week 5 seems like a coin-flip proposition. If he were able to suit up, he'd be joining a wide receiver corps already missing CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot), potentially setting him up to see an increased workload right off the bat.
OCTOBER 4, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Limited in practice Wednesday Mingo (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Impact Mingo was designated for return from injured reserve Wednesday, opening his 21-day practice window. He sprained his PCL during the preseason. With CeeDee Lamb (ankle) injured, Mingo is missing out on a chance to see some playing time on offense.
OCTOBER 1, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Designated to return Mingo (knee) was designated to return from the injured reserve list Wednesday, Joe Hoyt of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Impact Mingo sustained a right PCL sprain during preseason and has been sidelined for the Cowboys' first four games this year. He's appeared in five games since being traded from the Panthers to the Cowboys midway through last season, catching five of 16 targets for 46 yards. He now has 21 days to be added to Dallas' active roster before reverting to IR and will likely serve as a depth option in the wide-receiver corps once healthy.
OCTOBER 1, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Out at least four games The Cowboys placed Mingo (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday, a transaction which rules him out for at least the first four games of the regular season.
Impact Mingo will miss a minimum prerequisite of four games as he works to fully recover from the right PCL sprain he suffered mid-August, during Dallas' preseason loss to the Ravens. With Mingo sidelined until Week 5 against the Jets at the earliest, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin could benefit from a slight uptick in targets between top wideouts CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

Out at least four games The Cowboys placed Mingo (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday, a transaction which rules him out for at least the first four games of the regular season.
Impact Mingo is recovering from a right PCL sprain he suffered during a preseason loss to the Ravens. With the fourth-year wideout sidelined until Week 5 against the Jets at the earliest, Ryan Flournoy will fill the No. 5 role for the Cowboys, and Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin could see a slight uptick in volume behind starters CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.

Expected to start on IR Mingo (knee) is expected to begin the regular season on IR due to a PCL sprain suffered during Dallas' preseason loss to Baltimore on Saturday, Todd Archer of ESPN reports.
Impact Mingo is expected to be sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks, if not potentially longer, due to the knee injury he picked up while hauling in a 49-yard reception in the third quarter of Saturday's preseason loss. The third-year pro will likely officially be placed on IR on Aug. 26, as the Cowboys will be allowed to place two players on IR while designating them to return at the time of the 53-man roster being finalized. Once healthy, Mingo will be competing for reps at wide receiver behind CeeDee Lamb, George Picken, Jalen Tolbert and KaVonte Turpin.

The timeline for his injury means he'll miss Dallas' regular-season opener against Philadelphia on Thursday, Sept. 4, though his absence could persist beyond Week 1 depending on how his recovery goes. With Mingo sidelined, Friday's preseason finale against the Falcons will provide Ryan Flournoy, Traeshon Holden and Jalen Brooks the opportunity to audition for the WR5 job.

Getting testing Coach Brian Schottenheimer noted Monday that Mingo is in line to undergo additional tests on his knee, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Impact Mingo suffered a PCL injury during Saturday's preseason game against Baltimore, and while he is slated to get further testing, Schottenheimer told reporters, "I don't think it's gonna be terribly serious." When available, the 24-year-old is looking to cement his standing in a Dallas wide receiver room that also includes CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin. The 2023 second-rounder played in 17 regular games last season (nine with Carolina and eight with Dallas), finishing with a combined 167 yards on 17 receptions.

Dealing with PCL injury Mingo suffered a PCL injury in his right knee during Saturday's preseason game against the Ravens, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Mingo will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury, but it sounds like Mingo could miss some time. It's a tough break for Mingo after he made a splash play, reeling in a 49-yard catch versus Baltimore one play before he was injured. Mingo is competing for a role behind CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin in Dallas' wide receiver corps.

Injures knee Saturday Mingo exited Saturday's preseason loss to the Ravens on Saturday with a knee injury and did not return, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Mingo was targeted four times in the exhibition but caught just one for a gain of 49 yards. He was injured on the very next play after the long catch. Mingo is competing for a depth job at wide receiver behind CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin after Dallas traded a fourth-round pick to Carolina in exchange for Mingo last season.
