Impact The linebacker reached an injury settlement with the Broncos ahead of the 2024 campaign after learning that he would need a second surgery to repair a torn ACL he suffered in August of 2023. Before those surgeries, Griffith was a rotational option for Denver, recording 46 tackles each in 2021 and 2022. Now, he'll look to revive his career after two years away.

Hits free agency Griffith (knee) will reach an injury settlement with the Broncos on Monday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Impact Griffith was waived with an injury designation last Tuesday and reverted to IR after going unclaimed. The Indiana State product was working to come back from a torn ACL suffered in August of 2023, but suffered a setback and will need a second surgery to help repair the injury. It's not yet clear how long it will take to recover this time, but it's unlikely he'll be participating on the football field anytime soon.

Griffith was able to return to minicamp in June, and the 27-year-old linebacker out of Indiana State is determined to battle Barton for the starting role at inside linebacker. Griffith signed as an undrafted free agent with the Broncos in 2021, and across the first two years of his NFL career, he accumulated 92 tackles (48 solo), one pass defended, one interception and one fumble recovery over 22 regular-season games.
