Impact Ross made progress after he was absent from Wednesday's practice session, and he could avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers if he practices fully Friday. Assuming he's active, the 25-year-old may see a slight uptick in usage since the Giants are dealing with several other injuries among their receiving corps.
