Activated off PUP list Wills (knee) passed his physical Monday and has been activated off the active/PUP list, per the Browns' official site.

Impact Wills landed on the PUP list in late July as a consequence of the knee surgery he underwent last December. Though he missed the entire preseason slate, Wills is in line to start at left tackle for Cleveland during the 2024 campaign.

Won't return to practice this week Wills (knee) has not been cleared to practice this week, and his return date is uncertain, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Impact Wills had knee surgery last December and was placed on the active/PUP list in late July. He'll end up missing Cleveland's entire preseason slate, though he could still be ready to start by Week 1 of the regular season. The Browns have been hit hard by injuries to their tackle group, as Jack Conklin (knee), James Hudson (ankle), Hakeem Adeniji (knee) and Germain Ifedi (hand) are all currently hurt as well.

Impact Wills underwent offseason knee surgery in December and he'll be forced to open training camp on the sidelines as a result. The offensive lineman is geared up to be Cleveland's starting left tackle in 2024 and he is eligible to return to practice and play at any point during the preseason.
