Impact While he didn't gain much in the way of yardage, Waddle still led the Dolphins in catches and targets, and his seven-yard TD grab in the first quarter opened the scoring. He also set a new NFL rookie record with 104 receptions, breaking the mark of 101 set by Anquan Boldin in 2003, and Waddle avoided an asterisk by doing it in 16 games. He'll head into 2022 as Miami's clear No. 1 receiver, but it's not yet clear if he'll still be catching passes from Tua Tagovailoa or if the team will look for an upgrade at quarterback in the offseason.
