Impact Reed was in the midst of putting together his best performance of the season prior to the Packers deeming him questionable to return at the start of the third quarter. On eight targets, he'd hauled in six passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns (33 and 25 yards). Considering Green Bay already is down Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) on Sunday, the receiving corps has been whittled down to Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath, Samori Toure and Bo Melton.

Impact For the previous three weeks of game prep, Reed tended to a chest injury, but he's swapped that out for a new health concern to kick off Week 15 prep. He at least seems to be healthier than fellow wide receivers Christian Watson (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle), both of whom were listed as non-participants Wednesday. The next two days of practice likely will determine who among the trio join Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath and Samori Toure as the Packers' options at the position Sunday versus the Buccaneers.

Impact Reed led the Packers in receptions and targets on the night while also serving as the team's second-most productive rusher. The rookie struck for his second rushing touchdown of the season on a 16-yard run late in the first quarter, and he built up to a new career best in receptions with constant short catches throughout the night. Reed's overall volume is certainly very encouraging for fantasy managers entering the postseason in their leagues, and it gives the 2023 second-round pick a nice floor going into a Week 15 home date against the Buccaneers.

There's still some cause for concern -- even in a friendly matchup against a Giants defense that's allowed the fourth most points to wide receivers -- as Reed played fewer snaps than usual last week (47 percent) and wouldn't automatically get a lot more playing time in Watson's absence (Reed has taken 65 percent of his snaps from the slot this year, whereas Watson has worked the perimeter 63 percent of the time). Fellow rookie wideout Dontayvion Wicks could end up picking up most of the slack if Watson is inactive Monday night, though Reed might be more emphasized in the gameplan from a targets standpoint even if he's still only getting regular snaps in three-wide formations.

He was able to play through the issue during the Packers' win in Detroit on Thanksgiving, hauling ins four of eight targets for 34 yards and one touchdown and taking two carries for 16 yards. Reed's availability won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.
