Impact Hyatt tied for second on New York with five targets, but those opportunities yielded limited production. The rookie speedster did at least manage to turn things around a bit after he failed to garner a target last week against the Jets, but Hyatt's role and performance continue to vary wildly from week to week. He has failed to register a catch in four different contests this season, but Hyatt has also posted an 89-yard effort (in Week 2 against Arizona) and a 75-yard performance (in Week 7 against Washington). Daniel Jones may have suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday, leaving the Giants' already struggling passing game potentially in the hands of rookie UDFA Tommy DeVito and/or veteran backup Matt Barkley for at least the next several weeks. That doesn't help Hyatt's outlook, but even with Jones behind center the young wideout hasn't been able to put up the type of consistent numbers to make him a reliable fantasy asset.

Impact The rookie caught passes of 33 and 42 yards while flashing the speed that caused the Giants to trade up in this year's draft to select him in the third round. Hyatt doesn't offer much more than the ability to stretch the field at this stage of his career, but four of his first nine NFL receptions have gone for 30 yards or more. Regardless of whether Daniel Jones (neck) or Tyrod Taylor is under center in Week 8, Hyatt could have a hard time making an impact against a stingy Jets secondary.

Impact Hyatt played on 73 percent of New York's offensive snaps, the highest mark of his career thus far. His three catches also were a campaign high, though he was able to turn the receptions into only 21 yards. The rookie looked like he could emerge as the Giants' much-needed deep threat when he caught two passes for 89 yards Week 2 against Arizona, but his other five receptions this season have gone for just 31 combined yards. While the increased snap count Sunday is an encouraging sign for his outlook going forward, the Giants' passing game as a whole has struggled this season, and Hyatt has yet to put up the type of production that should inspire confidence in fantasy managers.
