Impact Grant began the week with two consecutive limited practices, but he upgraded to full reps Friday. The speedy slot man hasn't yet recorded 50 receiving yards in a single game this season, but he could have game script on his side Sunday if the Chiefs' high-powered offense forces Miami to play catch-up.

Impact Grant appears to have picked up a back injury after having been subjected to a cheap shot while attempting a punt return during last weekend's win over the Bengals. He'll have two more chances to increase his level of practice activity ahead of Sunday's contest against the Chiefs. Grant has drawn five or more targets in four of the last five weeks.

Impact Grant was likely injured when he sustained a flagrant hit by Bengals wideout Mike Thomas on an attempted punt return in the fourth quarter, which caused an ensuing brawl and the ejection of five players. Teammates DeVante Parker and Mack Hollins reportedly aren't at risk of suspension after being ejected, so as long as Grant is able to shake his injury in time to suit up against the Chiefs in Week 14, Miami's receiving corps will have emerged none the worse for wear.

Impact Although there was nothing particularly remarkable about his numbers, Grant still had a somewhat prominent role to play in the contest, albeit unintentionally. The speedster was interfered with by the Bengals' Mike Thomas on a would-be punt return in the fourth quarter, taking a premature and low hit that set off a large scuffle between both teams that resulted in the ejections of teammates DeVante Parker and Mack Hollins, as well as Cincinnati's Shawn Williams and William Jackson. Grant otherwise benefited from a timely recovery of his third-quarter muff by Noah Igbinoghene and put together his third straight two-catch effort. The young veteran primarily continues to fill a shorter-area role in the passing game previously handled by Preston Williams (IR-foot), but he'll look to make bigger contributions in what could be a pass-heavy matchup against the Chiefs in Week 14.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is prone to locking in on his top option, which doesn't bode well for Grant's fantasy prospects even though he's working as Miami's No. 2 receiver with Preston Williams (knee) still on IR. Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) appeared more willing to spread the ball around and give Grant targets, but it remains to be seen which signal-caller will start against the Bengals in Week 13.

With Preston Williams (foot) still on injured reserve, Grant is expected to continue working as the clear No. 2 wide receiver behind DeVante Parker. After churning out six receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets while Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) was under center the past two games, Grant will have to adjust to a new quarterback in Week 12, as Ryan Fitzpatrick steps in for the injured rookie signal-caller.

Impact It's concerning that Grant was added to the injury report Thursday, which means he suffered a hamstring injury during the practice week. The fifth-year wide receiver was handed a questionable tag as a result. The final verdict may not be available until the inactives list is revealed 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Malcolm Perry, Mack Hollins and Antonio Callaway could see more usage on offense if Grant sits out. Perry and Noah Igbinoghene are candidates to fill in returning punts and kicks.

Impact The fifth-year speedster ascended to the No. 2 receiver role in the absence of Preston Williams (foot), and he ended up pacing the Dolphins in receptions and receiving yards. Grant also was the only wideout to record a touchdown for Miami, bringing in a three-yard throw from Tua Tagovailoa near the end of the first quarter. Grant's elite speed does give him some serious fantasy upside, but what appears to be a tendency to play things safe with Tagovailoa thus far and rely heavily on the team's above-average defense may cap the receiver's overall potential. Grant will look to find the end zone again in a Week 11 battle against the Broncos.

Impact Grant only played 48 percent of offensive snaps, operating primarily out of the slot, but his five targets were tied with Preston Williams (foot) for the second-highest mark on the team. It's worth noting that Williams was forced to exit in the first half due to a sprain, so Grant's looks may have been slightly inflated. That's a trend that could repeat against the Chargers in Week 10 though, if Williams can't return. Per Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site, Grant also now leads the NFL in punt return yards.
