NFL Week 4, CFB Week 5 action report: Books say public 'got us good' on Georgia-Bama
Cam Little - Perfect in loss Little made both of his extra-point tries and field-goal attempts in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Jaguars.
Impact Little was good from 41 and 52 yards out respectively, making him 6-for-7 on FGAs in his rookie campaign, while he's also 6-for-6 on PATs now. Unfortunately, for the Arkansas product, the Jaguars offense has struggled moving the ball, leaving him few opportunities in the early stages of the 2024 campaign.

Brenton Strange - Brings in all three targets Strange secured all three of his targets for 19 yards during Sunday's' 24-20 loss to the Texans.
Impact Strange has drawn three straight starts at tight end with Evan Engram (hamstring) sidelined, once again splitting work with Luke Farrell (zero catches, one target vs. Houston). In that span, Strange has caught eight of 14 targets for 96 yards and one score, numbers that paint the picture of a fringe TE1 or TE2 for fantasy purposes. If Engram is able to get back on the field versus the Colts in Week 5, however, Strange will figure to return to a depth role.

Gabe Davis - Struggles vs. Houston Davis caught one of five targets for minus two yards in Jacksonville's 24-20 loss to the Texans on Sunday.
Impact Davis entered the weekend officially listed as 'questionable' due to a shoulder injury, and though he managed to suit up Sunday, he logged his worst day in a Jaguars uniform. Meanwhile, both Christian Kirk (7-61-1) and rookie Brian Thomas (6-86-1) connected with quarterback Trevor Lawrence for touchdowns. Davis was better in Jacksonville's first two regular-season games, in which he averaged 90-plus offensive snaps and 52.5 receiving yards. In two contests since, he's hovered below 80 percent of snaps and racked up just 16 receiving yards on 11 targets. Davis will look to bounce back versus the Colts in Week 5.

Josh Hines-Allen - Suffers concussion Sunday Hines-Allen suffered a concussion during Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Impact The defensive end made three tackles (two solo) before leaving the game. Hines-Allen will have to pass the league's five-step concussion protocol to play next week against the Colts. He has 12 tackles, including a sack, and two passes defensed in 2024.

Christian Kirk - Nabs first TD of 2024 Kirk caught seven of 12 targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans.
Impact The veteran wideout led the Jaguars in receptions and targets, although rookie Brian Thomas out-gained him by 25 receiving yards. Kirk has seen double-digit targets in back-to-back contests, and he appears to have re-asserted himself as Trevor Lawrence's most reliable downfield option, capping his performance Sunday with his first TD of the season on an eight-yard grab in the third quarter. Kirk will look to keep rolling in Week 5 against the Colts.
SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Brian Thomas Jr. - Hauls in TD against Houston Thomas caught six of nine targets for 86 yards and a touchdown and added 13 rushing yards on one carry in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans.
Impact The rookie led the Jaguars in receiving yards on the day, and his performance was highlighted by a two-yard TD grab in the first quarter after a muffed punt by Houston. Thomas has had a very productive start to his NFL career, putting together a 17-275-2 line on 26 targets over four games, and his role in the passing game is on the rise heading into a Week 5 clash with the Colts.
SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Tank Bigsby - Leading rusher in loss Bigsby carried the ball seven times for 90 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans.
Impact Travis Etienne missed most of the first quarter with a shoulder injury, but Bigsby's biggest gain came in the third as he rumbled for 58 yards on a drive that stalled on Houston's goal line. Etienne didn't play poorly when he was on the field, turning 12 touches into 60 scrimmage yards, but Bigsby's performance could encourage the winless Jaguars to shake things up and go with more of a backfield timeshare in Week 5 against the Colts. The second-year back's touch volume could ultimately depend on Etienne's health, however.

Travis Etienne Jr. - Plays through shoulder issue Etienne (shoulder) carried the ball 11 times for 50 yards and caught one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans.
Impact The running back missed most of the first quarter with a shoulder issue, and while he was able to return to the contest, Etienne was over-shadowed in the Jaguars' backfield by Tank Bigsby, who amassed 90 rushing yards on only seven carries. It's also the first time Etienne has failed to catch multiple passes in a regular-season game since Week 14 of the 2022 season. Bigsby's performance, and Jacksonville's winless record, could prompt the team to shake things up with a backfield timeshare in Week 5 against the Colts, but if he's healthy Etienne still figures to be the Jaguars' top option on the ground.
SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Trevor Lawrence - Tosses two TDs in loss Lawrence completed 18 of 33 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans.
Impact Despite another meager yardage total, Lawrence tossed multiple TDs in a game for the first time this season, hitting rookie Brian Thomas for a two-yard strike in the first quarter and Christian Kirk for an eight-yard score in the third. The latter gave the Jaguars a 20-17 lead, which looked like it might hold up until the team's defense failed to stop C.J. Stroud on the Texans' final drive. Lawrence will try to finish the job and give Jacksonville its first win of 2024 in Week 5 against Indianapolis.

Josh Hines-Allen - Enters concussion protocols Hines-Allen is being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Texans, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports.
Impact Hines-Allen will have to pass the league's five-step concussion protocols in order to return Sunday. Hines-Allen and Travon Walker are the only active defensive ends on the Jaguars' roster.
SEPTEMBER 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Travis Etienne Jr. - Returns to contest Etienne (shoulder) returned to Sunday's game against the Texans.
Impact Etienne had been forced out of the game with a shoulder injury, but he was able to return to the Jaguars' Week 4 backfield, which also includes Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson.

Travis Etienne Jr. - Dealing with shoulder issue Etienne was forced out of Sunday's game against the Texans with a shoulder injury.
Impact As long as Etienne is sidelined, Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson are available to handle the Jaguars' backfield duties versus Houston.
