Tank Bigsby - Still limited at practice Bigsby (shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Impact As did fellow RB Travis Etienne (shoulder), which sets the stage for Friday's practice to add key context regarding the duo's Week 5 availability. Unless he manages to practice fully, however, Bigsby will presumably carry an injury designation into the weekend.
OCTOBER 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Gabe Davis - Limited again Thursday Davis (shoulder) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Impact Davis was also limited Wednesday, but so far there's been nothing to suggest that his status for Sunday's game against the Colts in in danger. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether the wideout heads into the weekend with an injury designation.
OCTOBER 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Evan Engram - Churns out limited practice Engram (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
Impact Engram hasn't played since Week 1, but with two straight limited practices to begin Week 5 prep, he's putting himself in a position to put an end to his three-game absence Sunday versus the Colts. In order to avoid being listed as questionable heading into the weekend, however, Engram will likely need to upgrade to full participation in Friday's practice.
OCTOBER 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Travis Etienne Jr. - Stays limited in practice Etienne (shoulder) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact Etienne had a cap on his reps in practice for the second day in a row, but the Jaguars haven't yet suggested that his availability for Sunday's game against the Colts is in any peril. Even so, Etienne will likely need to upgrade to full practice participation Friday to avoid taking a designation into Sunday.
OCTOBER 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Josh Hines-Allen - Showing signs of progress Hines-Allen (concussion) logged a limited practice Thursday.
Impact Hines-Allen suffered a concussion in last Sunday's loss to the Texans. His ability to get back on the field in any capacity Thursday suggests he's progressing through the league's five-step protocols quickly. However, there's no guarantee he'll gain clearance to play ahead of this Sunday's game against the Colts.

Darnell Savage - Begins week as limited Savage (quadriceps) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Impact Savage has missed the Jaguars' last three games due to a quadriceps injury sustained in the team's Week 1 loss to the Dolphins. The first-year Jaguar has now logged seven consecutive limited practice sessions, so he's likely nearing a return to the field. If Savage misses his fourth consecutive game in Week 5, expect Antonio Johnson to serve as Jacksonville's top free safety.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Josh Hines-Allen - Logs DNP on Wednesday Hines-Allen (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Impact The Jaguars' top edge rusher suffered a concussion during the team's Week 4 loss to the Texans, so it's no surprise that he didn't practice Wednesday. If Hines-Allen is unable to clear concussion protocol by the time of Sunday's contest, expect Myles Cole to see additional reps with Jacksonville's first-team defense.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Devin Lloyd - Misses Wednesday's practice Lloyd (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Impact Lloyd missed the Jaguars' Week 4 loss to the Texans due to a knee injury, and following Wednesday's DNP, he could be in jeopardy of missing even more time. The Utah product will likely need to upgrade to at least limited participation Thursday or Friday in order to suit up for Jacksonville's Week 5 matchup against the Colts.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Gabe Davis - Limited practice Wednesday Davis (shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Unionreports.
Impact Davis was limited at practice last week and listed as questionable ahead of Week 4 action, but the wideout suited up in this past Sunday's loss to the Texans, en route to logging a 79 percent snap share and catching one of his five targets for minus-2 yards. With no reported setbacks, chances are Davis' limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Evan Engram - Returns to limited practice Engram (hamstring) was limited at practice Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Unionreports.
Impact Engram, who last saw game action Week 1, was unable to practice last week, so his return to Wednesday's session -- albeit in a limited capacity -- offers hope that the tight end could return to action Sunday against the Colts. Engram has two more chances to increase his participation level ahead of the contest, though he'll presumably need to practice fully by Friday in order to avoid a Week 5 injury designation.

Are the Bucs legit? Who's to blame for Jets mess? Is Trevor Lawrence a bust?

Are the Bucs legit? Who's to blame for Jets mess? Is Trevor Lawrence a bust?
Tank Bigsby - Limited due to shoulder injury Bigsby (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.
Impact Bigsby has been playing through the shoulder injury since it limited him to only special-teams snaps in a Week 2 loss to Cleveland. He got just seven snaps on offense and two carries Week 3 at Buffalo, but an opportunity opened up Week 4 at Houston when Travis Etienne suffered a shoulder injury of his own. Although Etienne ultimately returned to the game and led the backfield with 52 percent snap share and 11 carries, it was Bigsby who had the more productive outing, turning 17 snaps into seven carries for 90 yards (thanks to a 58-yard run in the second half). Both running backs are now listed as limited practice participants due to shoulder injuries, suggesting they should be able to play this Sunday against the Colts but may not quite be at 100 percent. Etienne is faster, quicker and has superior pass-game skills, but Bigsby is making a strong case for a steady role of his own with three gains of 20-plus yards among his 21 carries this season.

Travis Etienne Jr. - Limited in practice Etienne (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.
Impact The same goes for Tank Bigsby, who suffered his shoulder injury in a Week 2 loss to Cleveland and was limited to special teams for the rest of the game. He then played Weeks 3 and 4, taking on a bigger role this past Sunday after Etienne suffered a shoulder injury of his own early in the first quarter against Houston. Etienne returned later in the first half and ended up leading the Jacksonville running backs in snap share (52 percent) and carries (11), but Bigsby made the most of his seven carries with 90 rushing yards, including a 58-yard run in the second half. Limited practice participation to start the week puts both running backs on track to play this Sunday against the Colts.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
D'Ernest Johnson - Non-factor in loss Johnson rushed two times for zero yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Texans.
Impact Johnson played 12 of the Jaguars 58 offensive snaps in the contest, behind both Travis Etienne (30) and Tank Bigsby (17). With such limited playing time and touches, the 28-year-old does not hold much fantasy value as the Jaguars third-string running back. Johnson and the Jaguars will square off against the Colts in Week 5.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Montaric Brown - Effective in Week 4 loss Brown tallied eight tackles (five solo) and defensed three passes in a loss to Houston on Sunday.
Impact One of Brown's tackles resulted in a two-yard loss, and he broke up three passes -- one shy of the amount he recorded over 12 contests last season. The Arkansas product has been very productive as a tackler over the past three weeks, recording 26 stops during that span, including a career-high 11 tackles Week 2 versus Cleveland. Brown has played every defensive snap for the Jaguars over the past two weeks and has built up IDP appeal with his recent performances.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Chad Muma - Records eight stops Week 4 Muma registered eight tackles (three solo) Sunday in a loss to the Texans.
Impact Muma got the opportunity to start with both Devin Lloyd (knee) and Foyesade Oluokun (foot) missing the contest. Muma was on the field for all but four of Jacksonville's defensive snaps and finished tied for second on the team in stops. Oluokun is on IR and Lloyd isn't certain to return Week 5 against the Colts, so Muma could be in for another big workload this Sunday.
OCTOBER 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Ventrell Miller - Thrives in extended opportunity Miller tallied 11 tackles (eight solo), including one for loss, in Sunday's Week 4 defeat to Houston.
Impact Miller paced the Jaguars in stops, exceeding the nine he totaled over the first three weeks of the campaign combined. The 25-year-old logged a season-high 84 percent of Jacksonville's defensive snaps due largely to the absence of Foyesade Oluokun (foot). Oluokun was placed on IR on Saturday, so Miller is likely to continue to work in a starting role for at least the next three weeks.
